Oblivion Mod Detectives

What mod makes it so containers (chests, bags, sacks, etc...) "open" or "turned over" once you examine them? I absolutely hate it, and am not sure which mod I own is making this happen.

 

Or, does someone know how to "close" the drawers/chests/etc...? Makes houses look so cluttered and unkempt...

 

That would be Harvest Containers. I disliked it too, which is why I stopped using it.

hmm.. I don't have a Harvest Containers.esp or any [harvest] at all... Could it be from COBL?

Oscuro's_Oblivion_Overhaul [Version 1.34] has Harvest Containers intergrated

Wouldnt know how / If it can be removed.

 

Edit - Duck to close them, that will keep it tidy for you

 

Also check these entries in load order ?

....MMM Gems & Gem Dust - Im sure thats redundant with FCOM setup

(OOO has Gem Dust by Turgothh (Modified to enhance Tamriel’s Glittering Geology)

....BOSS seems to place Deadly Reflex higher than recommended last place at the Moment.

....You should use USIP mobs version with Frans

I'm actually wondering about two mods. One I've seen, but can't remember the name of it. It gets rid of the patch work looking square in the lod like this

Also, I'm looking for two mods, once of which I know exists....

 

The first one is a necromancer mod that totally revamps playstyle of necromancers. There's a greater(?) power that enables you to transform Grand Soul Gems into Black Soul Gems (or altar of some sort), enemies have a %chance to drop certain bones on death, enabling you to do rituals in order to create permanent skeletal minions. That's about all I can remember from the description. I wish I had downloaded and archived it for myself when I saw it. Possibly saw it on fileplanet if that helps.

 

The second mod I don't have high hopes for. I'm looking for a mod that adds Final Fantasy XI AF (Artifact) armor to Oblivion. Similar to pizz FinalFantasyXI WhiteMageAF - http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=15343 - But includes all (or some, specifically Ranger, Thief, and Black Mage) AF armor.

Is there a mod with a spell or somesuch to remove ownership of items? I'm having a few glitch problems with a house mod I've been using, where one of my companions keeps picking up the books I've placed on the shelves. When she does so the items get marked stolen and remain stolen when I make her give them back to me. Also, at one point one of the NPC guards tried to get on my horse, I believe, and got promptly cut down by the other guards and my companions.

 

I'm planning to build a stables (far away from the guards) in the CS to deal with the latter problem, but if there's a mod with a spell out there which could either remark the books as belonging to me after I get them back or prevent them from getting marked stolen in the first place, that would be nifty.

For books or potions/drinks, you can use Auto Book Placer. It's actually intended for placing or removing books, potions, or drinks from shelves or wineracks, but it has the side effect of removing the stolen flag from the things it picks up.

There was another screenshot with that character, and some rather sought-after sword, and I think it was determined that a lot of the things in the picture were unreleased. Dunno, though. Sersay? Haha, Sersay seems to fact-check half the things I say...
