Upon this faithful day

Tears of sorrow and of joy

Flow like rivers and floods

As looking at the past

Time can't erase how we feel

Knowing what must be done

Over the years to come

Troubles may never be gone

And never may that thought

In the remembrance

Of those who died without cause

And ones they left behind

Beat the drums

Sound the trumpets

Another has come to town

Clad in majesty

Arrayed in blue

The masses have gathered

Now for the next day

Long hours before us

Hard lazy work and no sleep

"Oh well!" I say

Just live till that time

Proclaim good ridden, till next month

Far below my wants and desires

I can do nothing but serve my sires

Running around with no aim

Oh when will I get my fame

Yet I need not have fame and glory

I need not have a fairy tale story

All there is is now or never

To hold my love forever

Way beyond what I ever could ask

I know my demons will unmask

Enjoy the time I am given

And conserve it with my live'n

Very nice stuff, LordWuShin

Memory

In the black of nights once passed,

the Stars glimmer without showing themselves:

Shy from the exuberance of the daily Sun

and drowned by the smoke and glare

of cities where lights line streets in corn field rows.

From far up here the ground makes like the Sky,

tracing new patterns and constellations

To point the way, the way back home...

[Evenings where treetop outlines of forests

cast their twilight shadow have been long replaced

by towering steel, that block the Sun without pause

and never bend with the wind--The rustle of leaves

have long been blown away by the rush of trains

That come and go long before their passengers

are able to run and reach their destiny.

We used to find Mercury in the early hours

and pass wishes upon our falling Stars;

But now I only wish for flashing head beams

to come with lighted car-top signs.

(The message was the same:

Dance with Venus by the light of the Moon).

I have since forgotten what it meant to dance,

preferring instead to remember your brilliance;

Tracing your patterns in the lights of your eyes.

Each passing day erodes what was known piece by bit,

'til nothing more is left but remembrance of a memory.

The wind that blows, slips through fingers easily,

fooling the feel of a cupped grasp, and

blowing daily crowds from deserted nightly streets,

'til nothing more is left but lost wonderers from afar.]

...outside, the lights below slowly disappear

behind the Clouds whose murky curtain had kept me

from being able to see the Stars once more.

Closer now am I, as the Dipper points the way,

yet lost with fear I am, for troubling questions remain:

Will you have remembered? or did I forget?

How lovely you wear the suit,

How awful the soup we taste,

Gloomy purple on the kitchen sink,

Money were given but we have waste,

Sweet pie from you to please us,

Your lips seduced us to taste,

How tall would you want to live,

How rain had never fall on us,

This poetry would never lead a win,

We live in democracy; they don't speak for us,

Yes your voice high as a flying dove,

Yet it isn't strong to float us,

How awful to live like a dying man,

How wonderful for you to have a tribute

Lady LIberty

Sailing on the open sea

I wonder where the end will be

Fleeing from the terrible past

Hoping in the future till the last

Dark is nigh

Time passes by

Now I see a Light

Not light from the sun

Or, for once, the flash of guns

But a growing beam of hope

High in the night air

Freedoms light is near

Majestic even at night

Just to see Her light

Never to extinguish

Encouraging my every wish

To live my life as I desire

Dawn breaks, and on my knees

I see my Lady Liberty

Standing erect and tall

As if never able to fall

Guarding

Protecting

Encouraging

Embracing

I love this new found sensation

The new found peace in Creation

I love you Ms. Liberty, too

For you I will be true

Thanks to every one that messaged me and PM'd me wondering why I haven't done anything lately. Here's to more in the future!

P.S. - Don't be shy! Continue on.

Mankind are running,

Who are they running for,

Mankind always struggling,

One would wipe their sore,

Thrown to the sea,

As you let off the weight,

Your eyes can't see,

The whale had made you a mate,

Why should we keep running,

As divine is the one to chase,

Yet when wicked had made a calling,

A petty task had become a maze...

Ah, welcome back LordWushin!
