Dark0ne
I've been busy at work over the past couple of days working on a global profile for members. I don't want to be linking to the forums all the time for different features so this has worked out just great. When you click on an uploader or poster on TESSource you are sent to the author's global profile. You can see mine at http://members.gamingsource.net/profile/in...hp?name=Dark0ne At the moment to edit your profile you need to edit your profile on the forums but you'll soon be able to do it from the Member Portal. The global profiles are there just to show people a little about yourself; who you are, your activity and your computer specs, as well as a piccie of yourself which you can upload using the forums. As a note: the kudos system isn't currently operational and will show a default of "15". It's a system that will allow you to show your respect for a particular member by giving them kudos. You can take the kudos you give to people away, but you cannot give someone negative kudos to avoid abuse of the system (i.e. kids giving everyone negative kudos). Just a small little feature to reveal the community favourites! ;) Have fun!
Povuholo
Looks nice. :) Kudos eh? Is it related to the Re-Wards part of the profile page you didn't want to talk about earlier? ;)
Dark0ne
Kudos eh? Is it related to the Re-Wards part of the profile page you didn't want to talk about earlier? Nah, that was just a useless mod I couldn't be bothered to remove :)

IamBatosai
Very cool! :D About the kudos, what if someone get's more than Dark0ne? I mean, without him we wouldn't have an awesome forum. He's gotta get a lot of kudos for that right? Good job with the forum and site's Dark0ne. 8)
Peregrine
but you cannot give someone negative kudos to avoid abuse of the system Now how are my loyal fans supposed to express their love for me? I demand you include a negative kudos option!
LHammonds
I like the new setup. It would be nice though if there were two link options for the author/uploader when looking at mod pages. One that takes you directly to the list of their associated mods and another that takes you to their profile page. I know there is a listing link on the profile page, it would just be one step less and seem relavant on a mod page. Here's a slick way of doing it. The name links to the profile, an upload count links to the upload listing. Example: LHammonds (12 uploads) I like the idea of negative kudos too but keep the counts separate. Kinda like a fame / infamy point system. ;) It would also be nice if the mod page's "PM THE AUTHOR" link actually filled in the author's address similar to the profile page's "Message This User"

LHammonds
Good point. I retract my vote for a negative (infamy) vote. I thought it was a cool match for Oblivion but it would in fact work against the site.
