Really no ones said it yet?

A hard core mode! This is the first fallout game where I actually feel like a scavenger They made all the junk in the game useful so why did they take a step back and make the water and food worthless?

It really needs to happen and soon

Here are three mods I would love to see. This is more on the lines of basic accessibility.

1) Create a UI menu that allows you see categories of items when you "Transfer" items to a container. Similar to the Inventory tab on the pip-boy where you have everything categorized into Weapon, Apparel, Aid, etc, etc.

Usually, when you enter a settlement, you want to offload some of your items without scrapping them.

All you can do is open your inventory, which lists EVERYTHING at once, and handpick what you want to move. I don't want to separate guns from food from armor. That takes too much unneeded time.

2) Add an option to scrap all junk. I imagine you could do it in a few ways.

2.1- Create an option at the Workbench that allows you to hit a specific key, which will scrap all junk in the Workbenches inventory

2.2- Allow the placement of a button/switch which you could place in the settlement somewhere that would scrap all junk items in your inventory.

***This idea would take a bit more work, but I'm including it anyways. More just for the idea.***

3) A mod that would allow you to manage what each settler is carrying at once.

Something similar to holding "V" to open up the Settlement Management options. Hold "U" (or some other unused key) to open a list of the settlers currently at the settlement and their inventories.

This would make settler management a bit easier. I can make sure they are equiped with the right weapons and items when I need.

I have started to look into modding (very new to it in Fallout), but throwing ideas out there might make someone bite. Fishing for modders and using good ideas as bait >

What pointman said. A way to sort the inventory so I don't have to scroll through a massive, alphebetized list to find what I'm looking for. At the least, having holotapes and notes sorted separately, and a way to tell when you've already read them. Nothing worse than picking up a holotape/note, not remembering what it was called, and subsequently being unable to find it in the list. This will be the first mod I download.

1. Reduce fusion core draw when holding your breath or better yet eliminate it altogether

  • Don't know if they did this for game balance or something but I don't like it. I don't know how holding your breath translates to the fusion core having to draw more power. Yes I know it uses AP points which under all other circumstances pulls more power from the core for sprinting and what not but I don't think that holding your breath (which is independent from the suit itself) should draw more power from the fusion core, Or as a middle ground give me a perk that reduces scope sway because current level of sway is just too much.

2. A semi related thing to #1. Please let me change the key you hold your breath to away from left alt. Every other single FPS I've ever played uses shift for holding your breath and left and adding insult to injury I can't even change the key binding for it.

  • Oh and please let me rebind drop from "R" to right click on the pip boy. I don't need to make the pip-boy's screen any bigger Bethesda I'm sitting at computer monitor 3 feet away.
  • Get rid of Auto Move. I don't need auto aim or to be moved closer to foe or target Bethesda I'm, using a K/B & M for your game not a controller I don't need the aiming help.

3. Use a second line for really long weapon names instead of cutting part of the name off.

4. What happened holstering a pistol, rifle or some of the heavy weapons on your back or side.

5. Night Vision as a possible mod for the Enclave Power Armor. There is no physical headlamp on the armor and it's the most advanced armor in the game so I feel it should have night vision as a possible mod instead of the headlamp
