Who are you voting for?

With the way things are going in America, by the next generation people will be saying 'Democrat' with as much contempt as they say 'Republican' now. Jimmy Carter was way before my time but there was a 16 year political backlash against Democrats because of him and his policies. Failure is failure. The hard left of the Democratic party isn't helping their cause, in the same way the religious right backfired on Republicans in the 1990s.

I'm still a conservative, but I rarely agree with the Republican party these days. I guess my reasonable and common sense views don't have political merit. I'm to the point now where I want Sanders and Trump to be the election candidates so they can shake the tree and make all of the rotten fruit fall out.

If all the rotten fruit fell out, I don't think there would be anything left.

Trouble is, the president can't really change anything. He can advocate for various bills, and veto those he doesn't like, but, he can't get legislation passed on his own, only congress can submit stuff to the pres, and congress has absolutely zero motivation to change anything. One of the reasons I think term limits for congress would be a REALLY good idea. But, as congress would have to get that law to the presidents desk, for his signature, I don't ever see it happening.

It's not that I find your premise not valid but come November we have to vote for someone or against someone. I prefer the former given my druthers, but I insist on knowing the clowns that are my choices first. Yeah I know that one is Hillary, but the other...well I find it incredulous that it might be Trump. Given that choice in November, it's much akin to playing Russian Roulette with two chambers filled.

I'm sure with the extensive Internet library and continual information updates on the senate and house of representatives I would be a perfectly good president.

After all I will be signing requests for changes which I have no authority to make up myself, and all I have to do is write, with a presidential pen, Yea or Nay; when I can be found not sleeping with my feet up on the desk or stretched out on the couch asleep. I'd probably lay in bed playing video games all night to pass the time I was supposed to be asleep. Fallout 4, Skyrim, or maybe even Oblivion. Or Dragon Age Inquisition which would continue to remind me of the importance of my real job.

Any other time I will be surfing the Internet, or playing a video game to pass the time when the HAL the first lady (wife) and I , a character I chose to be my HAL, are talking as she keep me posted and will advise me on the latest important parties we will be attending and how to dress for the occasions.

Vote for me!

So in last nights Republican debate , did we have Trump defend the size of his penis , is this what Republican debates have devolved into , name calling and whats the size of your penis. And its not like Rubio or Cruz were the ones who initiated that whole thing. Trump just went into that all on his own . Thats a guy who suffers from massive ego insecurities . Never would of imagined Presidential politics would devolve into penis politics , but hey if thats what republicans are into ... whatever turns your crank .. lol. Bill Maher is gonna have a field day with this.

Have always said the comedy channel was gonna get better because of this.

I'm not voting for anyone who has not, like me, had to change my little sister diapers before I was old enough to care that girls were different. I'm not voting for anyone who has not changed a babies diaper only to have it piss all over them while doing it. I'm not voting for anyone who has not gotten poop all over them as they tried to remove the diaper of a giggling kicking baby who seems to know you'd rather be playing with other children, your own age 9 year old grasshopper league baseball, who are going to the baseball field while you're helping your Mom so she can have a moment to use the toilet.

If you're a guy, like me, (younger then most of the candidates) who has had all the experiences of raising a child when you were a child, and still have a strong sense of smell, and sense of civility and decency in the company of others, I might vote for you.
