Boombro
The problem with paid mods is that steamwork shop makes mod theft easy, and it updates without telling you. The second biggest problem is the players folk. They are the ones who made it a living nightmare and forced some modders to leave or almost never mod again. The matter was very easy to handle, just don't use steam workshop, some mods will leave so be it. But the stuff I saw will make anyone who mods as a hobby even without charging for his/her mods "say f*#@ it." I'm against it for those reasons. I don't want any modder face that hell again. Even if beth made a better, safer platform that 10x better than nexus and gave a better cut. It just not worth it.

It might be worth it if enough % of modders participating legitimately benefit from it (monetarily), whether we, non-modders like it will be of no consequence. davidg53
1). Go to C:/User/Username under the "Organize" menu choose "Folder and search options" click the "View" tab, then in the Advanced setting list click the radio button for "Show hidden files, folder, and drives"2. Go to C:/User/Username/Appdata/Local/Fallout 4..3. Find similar files: Plugins.txt and DLClist.txt4. Open DLClist.txt and copy everything in it to Plugins.txt (paste under the existing text)5. Make Plugins.txt file Read Only.6. Play Fallout 4. If you add further mods you will need to update the Plugins.txt file.
ArekkusuStorm
Just wanted to point out that they updated the NMM so that when you press the "Launch Fallout 4" button on the top left, mods don't get disabled. No need to change anything or use FOSE if you don't want to anymore.
TheLich
There is one more problem - after update not only mods stopped working (empty plugins.txt), but game now ignores sResourceDataDirsFinal and bInvalidateOlderFiles in "My Games\Fallout4\*.ini" files. So any non-esp mods stop working too. I restored plugins.txt, mods appered, but now game CTD when I try to use some mods functionality (snap'n'build greenhouse, for example) - it's because these mods refer to resources, which are not availble to them now (because of ignored settings). The only solution I found so far is to set sResourceDataDirsFinal in "Data\Fallout4.ini" file in Fallout4 install dir. Malikin
I found "sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\" in my Fallout4_Default file. Not sure what changes to make to it. I wonder if Gopher is going to make a new video. This is getting exhaustive, trying to keep up with them trying to out do the modding community, instead of working with the community.
