VincentIcarus
I just noticed that some people (players of Fallout, not NPC's) love ghouls and some people don't love ghouls so I wanted to make a poll to find out how the players of Fallout feel about Ghouls. I personally think that they're pretty cool. I wouldn't want to be one myself but considering they've been around for 200+ years they probably have a lot they could teach you. Plus, they'd probably have some really cool stories to tell. Edited April 11, 2011 by VincentIcarus
IndorilTheGreat
Most of them are alright. Some of them are just huge pricks, though. Human or not, if someone is a jerk to me, I don't like 'em.
BloXboX
You have to think a bit .. They are also human, Atleast most of them were human beeings who have been infected. Some of them are pricks and assholes but thats just personality
KennethKarl
I love the whole idea of ghouls. I especially love the fabled ghoul life-span. The fact that they can live for hundreds if not thousands of years isn't very realistic, but who cares it's a fantasy game. My favorites are the Pre-War ghouls. Good Examples: Carol (FO3), Raul (FNV),and Dean Domino (FNV DM). I like how you can talk to people who were around before the war. It defiantly adds to the lore of the fallout series. Its also nice to talk about something other than modding, and glitches once in a while. :D
kevkiev
I generally like 'em, except I can't stand the Reaver variety. I guess they're a good challenge once you reach the higher levels but until then I always try to avoid them like the plague. Which is kinda fun too I guess but, still... Dam those things are hard to kill! And, for what?! - takes like a few hundred caps worth of ammo to kill those flippin' things and you're lucky to end to end up with anything more than a baseball glove and a butter knife. ita
I don't really like the way they were revamped in Fallout 3.
ub3rman123
Seeing how most all of the ghouls I met probably deserved to be shot in the back for what they say to me.. They all have some sort of an ego problem.
minngarm
well NV searchlight is killing the lore on it. But otherwise i love the fact they exist, some of them are great characters, and even the generic ones have a justified RP feel to them. Just not a fan of them in combat, ferals really, they would still use bludgeons as thats instinctive to hit stuff on other stuff lol.
marharth
Ghouls are just people that are ugly as f***. I like some and I hate some, I also like some people and hate some people. In tenpenny tower I killed the ghouls and everyone in the tower (besides a few people) because the people in the tower were assholes, and the ghouls hated humans. raatorotta
Loved Harold telling stories in Fallout 1 and 2. Also liked ghoul barber in Fallout 3. But in New vegas, i haven't found any likeable ghoul yet. Enemy ghouls are like enemy ghouls are always, very annoying with that screaming and running towards. Never liked ghouls as enemy. They are creepy. So, most of them are allright, unless their brain rotten too bad.
