Pushkatu
...with the sites. There are missing posts, that I posted only a day or two ago and I simply can't find them anymore. Also I now seem to have made 500+ new threads as seen in the picture bellow. I barely made 40 I think, but 500?! :blink:http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk185/pushkatu/Untitled-16.jpg I have endorsed this file just yesterday and my post doesn't show up. There's only a post from 11.04.2011 and then one from 06.04.2011. Mine should have been 10.04.2011 and it's not there. http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk185/pushkatu/ntitled.jpg BUT, it does show up here: http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk185/pushkatu/titled.jpg Not only my post is missing, that file had over 100 comments and now it has only 96. Does anyone else experience this problem? Thanks,Pushkatu
ub3rman123
I've noticed taht recently all files have two discussion topics. One for endorsements and one for everything else. I also saw that some comments have bugged. On one that I gave an endorsement to, the endorsement post is apparently before SIteBot even got in the short description. Arthmoor
Thought I was seeing things but yes, this has happened to everything I've looked at today. A second thread split off for endorsements apparently, with Site Bot having comments showing up in the middle of the list.
Dark0ne
Yup, an on-going work in progress happening in the background as I move over all endorsement posts in to their own thread that can be found in the "Discussions" tab. There'll be some news on it once it's all finished on all the sites.
Pushkatu
Good to know. I was afraid Nexus was hacked or something. Thanks.
Emma
So... the posts will be in one thread and the replies in another?? Or questions asked while endorsing will be in a separate thread from questions asked when not endorsing? Oh well, hope you'll find a system for it, because right now, it's utterly confusing :/
skyline99
@Emma: From what I can tell, which thread they go is determined by whether or not you ask the question in the endorsing post. So if you ask a question in the endorsement post pop-up, it'll appear in the thread with all of the endorsement posts. If not, the comment thread. The thing will this is that the mod author, or rather anyone else will to answer questions relating to the mod, will have their answer in the comment thread rather than the endorsement thread... I think. I haven't actually tried replying to an endorsement thread yet.

Well, it seems to me that I have my replies in one thread and the questions in another as people generally ask questions when they are endorsing rather than separately. Not easy to find anything in a total of +3000 posts when the questions are in one thread and the answers in another :(.
amgepo
Couldn't the endorsements be referenced somehow in the original thread, in order to be seen as always? Maybe visualising both discussions separated or merged could be configurable in member's options. I don't know if this could be difficult to implement, but right now it's mayhem, as endorsement post could include trouble reports. Besides, even if users stop endorsing and asking for help in the same post, there are authors like Emma that answer to all posts as fast as they can and this division would penalise this fair practice, forcing them to check the double of discussions.
