DarksAnthro
This is my opinion. This does not reflect other's opinion. Their will always be a need for adult mods. Any mod actually if someone is willing to put the effort or money up for it.Please for the love of Fall Out. Hold the damn "slooty" or skimpy mods off till after the summer! I don't want to see armor mods come out and have nothing there but a strip of metal yet still have the same protection value as the armor they are based on. I can't understand the thought pattern to why this one strip of metal is so powerful that it can protect it's wearer even if the plasma blast, laser bolt, projectile, and/or explosive damages. Not to mention environmental effects like poison and radiation damage. To be honest, their really isn't any use for those types of armor as we aren't playing with other people. The npc's in the game could care less if your naked or not. Unless Tom Howard made the npc's algorithm detect and base your conversation chances on what your wearing. But none the less. I hated how Skyrim was flooded with nothing but skimpy armor mods that made no god damn sense. How are tiny little plates barely covering the nipples and crotch area going to protect you against the elements? Arrows? Magic? Melee? The freaking dragons?! It's good if you want to jerk one off but other then that.I can not see a use of the barely their armor in the game. I'm sure it's probably going to be easier to make the barely their clothing and armor mods as it's only small amounts of material you'll have to make then either lore or realistic styles. But if you make a good set of awesome looking balanced armor. Then hell go ahead and make the adult mods after. Long as they are balanced. If you agree or disagree that future skimpy "slooty" mods should be balanced in terms of balistics, energy, and radiation protection to what is actually covered should be considered instead of slapping the states of one gear either in the vanilla game or in a mod just to be op as heck. You can yell at me through text or voice your opinion on it.
DoctorKaizeld
so hi welcome to being one of a thousand others who have made the same post as yours, we see you often and respect your opinion. (note: i am not being sarcastic or trying to insult you in any way) so here are the problems with everything you just said: 1) people will do what they want when they want. folk want to be seen as the king and this is a pretty good time to show what you got. 2) you dont need the GECK to make armor, yeah most other things do so you're going to have to deal with skimpy for a while this is normal. 3) seriously look up articles on why skimpy armor works, they can be hillarious... oh wait this isnt a problem this is a recommendation... 3) people are going to make their armors in the way they will want them for their own enjoyment you only get to play with the toys not alter them. 4) people like god items (though i am with you on wanting balanced stuff god items are boring) 5) you fail to realize that skimpy armor is for the player so they have something nice to look at while they play... lets face it the game world gets boring after you play it a certain number of times (i have the entire Skyrim and Fallout NV maps memorized sometimes to the very placements of rocks, i blame holllowed out rocks from NV for that) 6) Skyrim has a lot of non-skimpy armor, a lot of it is found on the Steam Workshop. also people have different opinions of skimpy. i think they should all wear longer dresses them ladies are freakin flashing their ankles everywhere! 7) telling a modder what to do is like telling M Night Shyamalan to stop trying to make movies with amazing twists, he's not going to he will make the twist the freakin trees to try to make a good twist! no seriously the trees were causin people to kill themselves in The Happening. 8) a large number of the great modders havent started modding yet or havent released anything. im sitting here waiting for Better Vampires Fallout 4 edition. (seriously man please make it!) 9) armor doesnt have to make sense in a video game and last but not least 10) you're complaining about an issue that is covered by someone every other week since at least Oblivion was released. seriously if it bothers you try modding yourself or start finding cool armors you like and requesting them. people may take notice and pick it up, but dont expect amazing work until later this year... like in Fall or late Summer. I'm sure it's probably going to be easier to make the barely their clothing and armor mods as it's only small amounts of material you'll have to make then either lore or realistic styles.this is also wrong it is not in anyway easier. Boombro
Uggh, this again!? If you hate skimpy outfits and wish for covering outfits, why not make some yourself then? I see people complaining all the time and wish for outfits that covers, why not learn how to use blender and make some yourself? Why wait and whine? jramirex
Do you go to Victoria's Secret or Frederick's and tell them to start selling more granny panties? Are real thongs and G strings useful? They do not provide much protection and in some cases they even cause discomfort and infections yet women and some men wear them. You can't stop them but the Nexus gives you the option to not see them at all, use them filters next time. razorpony
I think people forget that not everyone approaches gaming the same way. Some people want realism and immersion. For these people the thought of unrealistic armor is like a thorn in their side. For others, they just want something that works and also looks nice. It doesn't have to make sense. As long as the file says this armor reduces incoming damage by 80% then it does, no matter what the nif looks like. Think of it like some other games. Diablo for instance. There are NPCs you can pay to customize your armor and change the way it looks without affecting the stats. These armors are like that. Just eye candy. Try not to let it bother you too much, the bouncy jiggly cat girls are just getting started.

JuJooGuppy
This topic has been beat to death, and neither side will see eye to eye. My personal opinion of adult mods / strips of clothing mods is pretty negative, so I will withhold it as I am sure I will upset and offend someone. I personally can't see how virtual pixels is 'something nice to look at' compared to a well executed, gorgeously detailed armor (that can also be seductive, mind you) but thats my opinion- everyone has one.So, with all due respect, gonna just have to accept it. On the plus side, I think there are more people that make non-adult mods than there are otherwise, it just may not seem like it all the time. Maybe im wrong. You can yell at me through text or voice your opinion on it. For a second I thought you mentioned the Slooty Vault Suit.http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/8233/? Yes it is very Japanese anime inclined. But after using CBBE Bodyslide to put it in appropriate body of your choosing, this is actually a very modest suit. It is just another suit, but the wearer decides to show some cleavage. In real life it is even acceptable (maybe not for a school teacher, but office work is fine in most cases). Since this game is not MMORPG, What people do behind their closed game world is really their thing. I mean, they can very well build a CBBE body with super large breast size and rebuild all outfits invisible so everyone runs around naked. That can't be too interesting. But well, sex sells. And naturally people are more inclined to this kind of eye candy than realism. And we have a choice to use them or not. The only problem is other creators may be discouraged to create more realistic/immersive content. So before you say something else, let's think of this as a way to encourage and support content creators (other than ultra skimpy outfits with ridiculous proportions). But at the same time do not discount those creators. I respect 2pac4eva for creating his CBBE Skimpy outfit overhaul even though I cannot buy into the double melon CBBE body. But before you write off that mod, look again. The author went far beyond to create a workable bodyslide version so that you can adjust all these outfits to something you can live with. And for me, it is more than what I could ask for. How many did I use out of his 30+ outfits? I used about 5. But these 5 are game changers for me. Cait often complains about the heat, so we know it's really hot there. I use unique player/follower mods. So I can give my character the half dirty (self modified skin with photoshop) with sweaty spec (taken from one of the CBBE mod). For some outfits that is appropriate to only my character (but not the rest of the world) I will make them standalone (took 20 minutes watching Youtube and 2 hours to get it right the first time). And voila, Cait is super dirty some rather skimpy outfit (she is a brawler, I either give her melee weapon or a minigun). My character is less skimpy, but sweaty for running around and snipping people. And I do not like to see any inappropriate NPC in any sort of skimpy outfits. That's how it works in my game. And if you want to know, Piper is all buttoned up, the city girl look. Curie is not supposed to care too much about covering up or not. I am in the process of making her a CBBE skin with more cyborg/mannequin like texture, although having a hard time to find someone to help me remove the nipple bit off the 3D model. This topic has been beat to death, and neither side will see eye to eye. So, with all due respect, gonna just have to accept it. On the plus side, I think there are more people that make non-adult mods than there are otherwise, it just may not seem like it all the time. Maybe im wrong. it's actually almost 50-50 if you take all mod sites into account as well as taking non-skimpy but sexualized armors and add them to the non-adult side. (not skin tight armors stilll count as skimpy if they are made to show off the breasts) and to add to what was said above, it is fine to ask for non-skimpy armor, but put it the request section and preferably with pictures of what you are looking for. this can get people thinking and putting time into something other then skimpy armor. we may not see a lot of goo stuff though until the GECK is released. tomomi1922
Armor wise, we don't really need GECK. Unless, you want to make something like an armor that looks friendly standing around, but once we draw weapons, it transforms to something more tactical. That would need GECK.
