JuJooGuppy Posted January 31, 2016 Share Posted January 31, 2016 I think people that do it for non-questionable reasons (Which I think, and hope, is the majority, when it comes to the younger looking characters) is to capture the 'cutesy' or even anime look, as others have stated. For me there is a fine line between outright looking like a child and making me feel uncomfortable, and just looking young and cutesy / anime / digital (Trying to explain... mm, I guess, something like, a pixar-ish character)These mods are the least of my concerns though when it comes to content I cant wrap my head around lol. As for Fallout, everyone has different preferences, so some people will prefer younger, innocent looking female companions, just as some prefer buffer, tougher, rougher looking male companions. There's no harm in that. Now if someone decided to make Piper look the same age as Nat, complete with the child body I will start to question what they're doing and why, but it's not like anyone forces me to download it, so I'll probably end up just shrugging, deciding that's enough internet for one day, and move on. :p Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

We need to stop being politically correct, tell ourselves everything is permitted and everything is alright. I am fully aware this is not a popular opinion but I will say it anyway. If you think there is no thing such as "rape culture" in videogames then look twice. It's not about preferences anymore. I ask myself what is the base demographics for a site this large, and I often think the vast majority are men. Therefore, if the vast majority are men why the top mods, like you say, often feature these modifications of the female body? And here I am making a clear difference between just nude mods (nudity does not imply violence) and mods where words like “SL*T”, “tight pussy” are on their name tag.By now you’d probably be like “oh but there are mods out there for males too, what’s your point?” These mods are almost non-existent. I check the nexus every day and so far I’ve only seen this one: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/8091/? And you can clearly see people make fun of it. They make jokes like ranging from the typical “oh but that’s too big, no one has a dick that big, it’s unrealistic” to plain rude stuff (also there are those who are question why aren’t there more mods for males). So, basically, when someone modifies the male form it’s considered funny “haha”. But oh boy, things do change when it’s the other way around. I don’t think I need to tell you about it. Young female mods are popular because this game has young fans, and when you're (eg.) 16 years old, you're attracted to other 16 year olds. I see a lot of these mods/presets/whatever popping up and all they seem to do is make the female followers look like 12-year-old girls. They are very well done and get a lot of thumbs up, I'm just a little confused as to why people would want girls (women) to look like this. Can anyone enlighten me? Thank you! Note: I am not trying to passive aggressively start up something here, I'm genuinely interested in why you guys think this is awesome. Funny.... I look at all those follower mods (especially the females) and all I think is "more barbie bimbos caked in s*** makeup and s**t clothes" (just look at that mod that changes Mama Murphy into just one of those aberrations). JuJooGuppy Posted February 1, 2016 Share Posted February 1, 2016 The hot mama murphy mod just made me sigh... it defeats the point of her character, and lowers the diverseness of characters, and is just kinda sad, to me.I still stand by the freedom to pick your own mods and material though (To an extent, there of course are limits to that for a public site). This topic has been beaten to absolute death though, and the two extremes of the "sides" can't see eye to eye. Me, I am stuck in the middle.. I get the people who are frustrated / disgusted with the abudance of "slooty" mods and other such, and I also totally get the idea of freedom to do as you please. I understand both sides. I personally find slutty / slooty mods or bodies with massive watermelon chest or "outfits" that involve a piece of silk guarding just the nipples to be pointless, and I get no enjoyment from them. If I want nudity, I will seek out my gf, or browse one of the millions of porn sites, and get nudity. Pixels don't do anything for me, personally. In fact, such mods would really take away from the game for me, as it would break any sense of realism the game holds on to, and just make it less interesting. All that said, its MY opinion, and I will defend to I am blue the right for others to use the mods and have a very different opinion of them.I wont support mods that cross lines, though. Such as rape / sexual violence, or actual underage sex-related content, etc. I was going to list incest... but then I considered, TECHNICALLY, if you date Danse.. you are kinda dating your grandson...
