Boombro
Bethesda need to grow up and learn to accept all the modders on pc they are only adding fuel to the fire every time they break the mods.Patching break mods. Always. In all the games. This is hardly anything new really. I'm kind of glad it does the job for me to make sure my game runs without mods. That is something everyone should do with every patch. Many mods cause the game to have all sorts of CTDs when new patching is done. Data changes cause the mods to not be usable, cause CTD, fps drops, lag spikes, slow load times and more. This happened in all past games. That why beth locked modding. When the patch comes, everyone sounds the alarms. Thinking it will break the game, it so the other way around. It doesn't help some mods already leave a mark on your save, so if the mods that cause problems after the patch are never updated. Bye bye modded settlements, custom modded weapons, mod added work benches. Some people lost saves even.
JuJooGuppy
I am not sure what they did, but I definitely love this patch. For my setup, the boost in FPS in the dense areas is truly incredible. Areas that I was hitting 30-40 FPS are now up to 50-60. So evidently they cleaned up something. I am very happy to be able to enjoy Hangman's Alley AND still use my max gfx settings. KillasofCreepas
Thanks to everyone for replying! The reason these mods didn't work for me is because of my own stupidity, I had enabled the mods in NMM but completely forgot that I had to tick them in the plugins list. However, I am still going to keep this thread open, seeing that there are some other people who replied and had the same problem, but no solution. PeterJStorm
I've tried everything, and it still doesn't work, even what gopher told in his video won't work for me
nightrifle1015
For people having problems with their game even after disabling mods, check this thread: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/3752490-ctd-when-loading-any-save-or-even-starting-new-game-after-patch-1347/ After uninstalling settler and gore related mods my heavily modded Fallout 4 works just fine. These mods seem to have left some settings behind that would crash games even after disabling esp's.
maxgnc
For me, following this instructions (http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Fallout_4_Mod_Installation) + following instructions from updated version of Gopher´s video, always got me the same results = mods clearly active in NMM but missing in my gameplay I don´t use Gore and/or settlement related mods.So I had to resort to editing Fallout4.ini file, adding the complete line (sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\, MUSIC\, SOUND\, INTERFACE\, MESHES\, PROGRAMS\, MATERIALS\, LODSETTINGS\, VIS\, MISC\, SCRIPTS\, SHADERSFX\) and that activated the mods but the load times were very long.Solution: Follow Gopher´s video instructions, and in Fallout4.ini leave sResourceDataDistFinal= untouched and add bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 Hope this helps some of you
Fuijita
Maybe someone can help me. I've done everything that there is to do to get my mods to work. I got some to work, however they are only the ones you can download through FO4 from bathesda. Nothing I get from the Nexus works which saddens me as I would like to use CBBE. The game reads them, says they are there but they do not show up. Is there a way around this?

Is there a way around this? You're probably having issues with NMM, the recent versions are incredibly buggy and are no longer being supported while they create a new mod manager from scratch. I suggest either switching to Mod Organizer 2 or trying an older, more stable version of NMM. Try 0.61.21 https://github.com/Nexus-Mods/Nexus-Mod-Manager/releasesMod Organizer 2 http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/6194/?
