Lonewolf1968
I don't want to be a modder. Never did. I just want to PLAY mods others make like I could on Skyrim through steam. I fully admit I am not computer literate enough to be a modder. I just enjoy playing different mods from others that make the game better than it's original release. Fallout 4 could be so much better but it seems I'll have to wait and see if Bethesda releases mods through Steam for it.

All mods will be managed thru their interface in the game, and you can download mods from their websites. Ofc, nexus remains prime modding beacon. Lonewolf1968
Well, something went wrong and now the game won't launch in Steam. I have completely uninstalled it and deleted all files under my games. Now I am reinstalling it in hopes it will at least play the original game. I read every line the instructions gave for installing and activating the mod. Told you I was no good doing these things. Now give a real gun and I can put 99% of the mods in the game on it blindfolded.
Ethreon
I seriously suggest watching Gopher's videos. He is making very detailed and simple instructions.
wax2k
@Lonewolf1968: You probably should wait until Bethesda officially releases the GECK and opens up the Steam workshop for Fallout 4, if that worked for you in Skyrim. Modding pre-GECK and modding either manually or by using NMM means a bit more than just "one-click gratification". And: yes, the term "modding" includes "using mods", since you are modifying your vanilla game by altering it with downloaded, user-made files. You either have to supress your desire or get deeper into the subject. Your decision. Edited April 19, 2016 by wax2k
Lonewolf1968
Appreciate the advice y'all. I just want the game to work again. Never been really happy with any of the builds you can do on FO 4 and certain things just never made sense. Still trying to figure out who thought roving radiation storms was a good addition to a game?
steve40
I was wondering - has anyone actually managed to exceed this category keyword cap at all? Is it really a problem? What is the actual keyword limit, does anyone know? Is SK really necessary, or is it much ado about nothing?

wax2k
@sunshangxiang: If you have CTD issues and already tried everything mentioned in the guide and other threads in this forum without success, you should post your own thread and describe your issues there. Include as much information as possible (when did it start, when exactly does it happen, what did you already try to fix it, which mods are you using, load order etc.).
