A Guide to HDT-SMP Users/Modders

So, is there something like CBBE SMP for Skyrim Legendary Edition aswell? Tried the whole day, got the SMP Physics to work on my body (clothes mostly don't work, but I guess that's because most of them are made with UNP in mind). But I just can't seem to get the Hand and Body collisions to work.

Also, does anyone know where to download the latest version of SMP for Skyrim LE? Read here on LL that someone is unofficially updating it, even if that's not true there has to be a download anywhere for the last version that came out, but I ca't find one with a specific version or something.

 

Help would be kindly appreciated (¬‿¬)

You are probably looking for something like this one: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/100306, the mods installer comes with the SMP version you will need.

 

SMP is open source now so it is entirely possible someone has taken up supporting newer versions on LE. I have not come across it though so you may be stuck with the last supported release from Hydrogen for LE.

Hi, What can i do when my fps drops below 10, sometimes go down to 1-2 fps. When i use the command "smp reset" it works well for a while.

I´m german so i did not really understand erverything that was written in the guide.

For a start this guide is way out of date.

I managed to get it working in SE and if I can do this by following the guide on the mod page then anyone can.

Is it possible to setup a really simplistic version of SMP? The instructions on the front page seem like an alien language to me. All I want is for it to basically imitate regular HDT PE while enabling me to use SMP outfits like the ones COCO makes. Is that possible?

 

I use Legendary Addition, use the CBBE body, and use Mod Organizer. I've been trying for about a year to get SMP right but I do not understand the instructions even remotely. As a basic user what exactly do I need to do?

Appreciate it. Also I'm not saying I want them to work together. I just don't need my SMP setup to be anything super impressive. Just enough to take advantages of its effects. I'll look into the link.

I have an issue with hair - not a wig / piece of armor - not colliding with the ground or body. In the log I found the following clues:

In the .nif files all meshes are BSTriShape's and their names are matching 100%. All bones exist by their given names. Other than that the hair moves correctly according to the settings. What could the problem be?

 

Also I noticed something odd in the logs:

But as you can see in the xml below, the bones name have "..._b3pot_..." and not "..._b3p0t_...". I guess that is a bug on SMPs part?

A few questions I have for you to start off a debugging hullabalu.

 

* Which version of the game are you running? (Special edition, Legendary etc)
* Is the nif you are applying SMP to created by you or being adapted from an exisiting mod?

* Does your hair nif contain proxy objects called VirtualGround, collision head, collision body? (with those exact names, triple check for typos) (also try removing the space in the 'collision' names, shouldn't matter but *shrug*)
