Style of Mods You Think We Need More

I'm already done writing one town and halfway through another. Got a good chunk of the voice acting done too, just waiting on the second half of the voice actors to get done. I am using these as hubs for different factions in my story.

Fantastic, I can't wait to see what you do with these.

Good luck with development! The writing's the easy part, the implementation is where things get serious. Can't believe we aren't getting the editor until next month.

A Raider settlement where instead of putting them to work in stores or on farming or whatever, they would be sent out on raids and after a set time they return with random items. Or instead of provisioners that link settlements, you could send scavvers out to collect junk and they'd return every couple days or whenever.

Mods that add more variance to PA geometry. So far most of what we got now affect only stats and paintjobs.

Would be nice to be able to add strapped down cargo satchels and ammo pouches to my PA exterior, or see external evidence of the varying upgrades i can apply, like explosive vents or whatever. Maybe even be able to decorate my PA with animal bones or spikes or chains or whatever.

Also having there be a difference between PA frames. Right now one frame is as good as the next since all the stats that matter are in the armor. There is nothing to really encourage me to grab more frames other than using them as mannequins at my home base.

I always found the technical side of things more along my skill set.

Back when I worked on making games from scratch in Unity and Unreal (Indie, not AAA) it was always my job to take the vision the artists had in their heads and find a feasible way to implement it withing the restraints given to me by the engine or the mechanics the programmers designed.

The biggest jump for me doing this project was having to do my own concept art. Not that I can't draw, but that blank piece of paper and nobody telling you who that character is, that was hard for me.

I can't wait till I am done with all this writing and can get back to 3d modeling, I've gotten quite exhausted from writing so much. I find 3d modeling more relaxing.

im all over this, ive been considering roaming raider gangs for a while now, and i already have a solid knowlege of the raiders in fo4edit. ive even got a couple hazmat suits specifically for raiders to have sparse gangs roaming the glowing sea, and give players a chance to score some radiation chems. i could just use libertalia and make a settlement out of that, but i think personally id like to make a completely new raider settlement, more orgonized than the rest. the only real problem with this is adding the player to the raider faction, if every raider was your friend, it would eliminate a lot of the havoc in the cities that everyone enjoys. i would need to create entirely new raider templates that are either factionless or are in a new, player-joinable faction. however if your raider scavengers are in a faction that is in conflict with your settlers, thats a problem. i dont know, if you have raider gangs, on your side, roaming the wastes looting for you, i can see some problems with that.

on the plus side though, its been said that the raiders in fo4 are less likely to outright kill settlers, and would rather extort them, or charge them "protection fees" so maybe having a new raider faction that is "friendly" with settlers wouldnt be that far off from lore-friendly. its a lot to think about, and as soon as the geck is out im going to be all over this concept.

I wouldn't mind seeing more clothing mods from a dude called brokefoot. I'm a big fan of mashable, multi-slot items and a wide variety of choices is always a good thing.

I don't know if this fits the criteria of "wanting to see more of" (because I looked and couldn't find any), but I'd like to see some camping mods. They can be simple or fancy, all I need is a placeable bedroll and an optional campfire. I'm sure a mod like this will hit top 10 in no time, especially when the new Survival mode goes live.
