Athanasa
"We can make the game great together!" Now, I'm a very cynical person - my brain translated most of what was said in that video as: "You'll finish the game for us." Which makes it sound like a bad thing - but the end of it all is that Fallout 4 has far greater potential because of it, regardless of how jaded your view of the whole thing. But, that's a whole can of worms that I'm going to leave very slightly open. Edited April 26, 2016 by Athanasa
Aeradom
Poor Giddyup, it's head became a power armor codpiece! The large 4 legged mech though.....I wonder if that is a teaser for Far Harbor. It looks like something Fallout-verse would consider a explorative submersible, to me anyway. Interesting,Geoff PS - THE CONFETTI GORE!!!! FAAAABBBBBULOUS!! Did you see what the mod was called though? "Horse Armor", you know that says something about a studio who, the very mod they feature in the video (named at least) is a reference to one of worst DLCs ever released by any studio not just Bethesda. I'm not sure that it that says. Still. I like that they did it because I got a good chuckle from it. "We can make the game great together!" And especially with something so large, they can't really fix everything without diverting resources from developing new DLC. My issue comes in when they start talking about paid mods, but more specifically, are wanting the lionshare of the cut. I would assume if they were to reinstitute that system; 1) it'll probably just be for consoles and 2) the revenue sharing should be better just because there isn't a third party involved this time. Aikospacerogue
Are ... are those custom meshes ? Am I dreaming or are we 3D artist getting proper tools for importing ? All I'v found is to export directly from the devkit to FBX,no import, and its 'intended ' to be opened with Max 2009 or 2013. http://www.creationkit.com/fallout4/index.php?title=FBX_Export_from_Editor Maybe someone can enlighten me but I currently can't really see the benefit of this regarding custom meshes. Deleted2729555User
First of all I want to say that I'm glad that we finally get the creation kid, but what I don't understand is that Joel Burgers says "So the creation kid is the tool that we actually use every day to make the game". So why did it take so long to release it if it has been ready since a long time? Edited April 27, 2016 by Guest

So why did it take so long to release it if it has been ready since a long time? I think, it's the "stripped down" consumer version of the program they use everyday. But I think it took so long because they knew they had .5 updates to do, and they knew each update would probably break mods, so to keep us from complaining "the #&^% update broke my mod" (not that it stopped us  ), they waited until the game was in a more fixed/stable state to release modding. It just seems strange to me that he says "the tool that we actually use every day", although it's quite obvious that it's probably just a "stripped down" consumer version as you said. Even if it's the exact same version they use internally (and it may not be), once they are going to distribute that to the public it would require a pass by the legal team at the bare minimum. I'm going to guess it had many passes by legal and other devs to 'clean it up for prime time' and make sure all the 'CYA due dilligence' was done. I haven't seen any remuneration talked about upon uploading other than ppl that don't download the mods can rate them... Has anyone? My download yesterday was so slow, I stopped it. @MasterMangus How exactly does an attorney understand the computer game production environment enough to even know what to look for? Kinda strange to me. They go by past case law and protect retroactively since we know past performance is no guarantee of future performance so that'll work perfectly. Did you know the due diligence standard applies to finances, but not to ppl? (Well except if you work for one of the big 4 accounting firms, and your a big corp, then just lie ur butt off, they'll cover you...2008 anyone?) Drs only need reasonable care!
