Beware, the video is very disturbing.

This is quite possibly the most disgusting thing I've seen in a long, long time. And he's apparently going to get away with it. He's been suspended for two weeks while they investigate the video, but no charges will be laid against him. I feel sickened to my stomach that someone can do something that is so clearly child abuse, and the american legal system is going to let him get away with it.

The daughter's motivations for posting the video might not be good themselves, but the behavior in the video is inexcusable. Worst part is, he won't even admit to what is so clearly child abuse.

This is why I abhor corporal punishment. It's a stone-age notion that should be nuked back to the stone-age together with the people who do it.

That's terrible! And that man is a... can't even find the words to describe. Well I do but I'd be banned for posting them here. Couldn't he just took the computer away or do something that his daughter wouldn't be able to use internet or something?

Edit: Sure what the girl did isn't good but there's really no need for abuse especially when there are over ways to prevent that from happening again like I mentioned above.

If he was anyone else, he would be sitting in jail, with assault charges being pressed by the state, and his wife would be right there with him. Neither of them would be permitted to EVER see their daughter again.

So much for "justice is blind" eh?

Justice maybe blind but video cameras and Youtube is not. Reading through some of the comments on the site - apparently they didn't bring charges until after the statute of limitations had been exceeded when this came to light - over 5 years in the state where this occurred.

Still completely shameful and I agree with the other posters - limitations should not even enter in the argument with such damning evidence.

statute of limitations

the timer starts once the authorities know the crime was committed

not at the moment of the crime.

so they waited for 5 years after it was posted on youtube??

shame on them.
