bryggggan
HI! I know nothing about making mods, but why is there still no custom animations for weapons yet?I thought maybe bethesda made it easier to mod this time around, but guess not.You hard working guys that know how to mod, is it hard to make animations? Thanks//Simon
blackninja50
As far as I know (ie a few posts and from skyrim moding) new weapon animations are imposable.
kingofthesword
The game uses the havok program for animations which is no longer available to the public and cost many tens of thousands of dollars to buy so new animations are unlikely unless Bethesda somehow gives modders a way to make new animations. Someone recently uploaded a version of havok to the nexus but I have no idea if it is the real thing.
zc123
There are still plenty of older free versions of Havok floating around out there on the internet that people can use if you know where to look. There are also quite a few of the modders who have been active a long time who have havok from when it was free. I have also heard talk of people using multiple kinect's in order to create animations, though I'm sure doing so would be quite a long process & while less expensive then legitimately buying havok would still be expensive. bryggggan
Alright, so it's unlikely that we get to see many new animations. Guess we're stuck with the awkward original animations for custom weapons :PThanks for answering guys!

FO4 requires 64 bit tools though.
