Best Skyrim-like co-op RPG?

I really don't want to start anything like WoW. I want something I can play with 3+ people where we HAVE to split up loot and stuff like that. Something 1st person/3rd person. If there's local co-op that would be great because my friends and I aren't always near Internet and I don't want to burn through data.

Well, there is The Elder Scrolls Online. That's the only one I can think of.

I would have suggested Divinity Original Sin, as it has "couch co-op", but it only allows for two players. The upcoming sequel supports up to four player, however.

if you had the mods i have, then rainbow six vegas 2 is the way to go... seriously, my game has guns and tactical gear

ESO Online isn't that great IMO. Way over hyped.
