Far Harour DLC sums up FO4 woes

"No collectables?"

2 Power armor sets

5 magazines

14 new legendary effects

Vim recipes

The Striker

Marine Recon Armor

Rescue Diver Suit

The list goes on.

Don't know what you consider a "collectable." Any valid points you may make in your rant are overshadowed by this blatant falsehood out of the gate.

They were from A World of Pain and not vanilla New Vegas.

Three cheers for DJMystro and A World of Pain! Just downloaded Fallout 4 onto my computer but I haven't started playing yet. I have been hoping things will stabilize and the first character and quest mods would appear. I am pleased to hear about Tales of the Commonwealth from the author of Skyrim's premier quest mod. I am anxious for the Heather mod from llamaRCA. I am hoping Someguy2000 does a mod and that new mod authors appear who will blow everyone away.

I keep prying djmystro will make a fallout 4 version of AWOP. That mod single handily added hundreds of hours of playtime to FNV for me.

Go play the witcher 3 that's a great rpg with meaningful locations. There problem solved good day to you sir.

I actually bought Witcher 3 just for a change even though I don't like "dungeons and dragons" movies or games. I absolutely freaking hated it, so much so that after a couple of weeks of trying to care about the characters or figure out how to craft anything, I simply abandoned it and uninstalled it from my rig.

Having said that, I never bothered going on rants about it. I just put it down to experience.

For the love of god man, get a life already.

You hate fo4, we get it, you don't think it good, we get it. Now stop for the love of all thing holy in all world.

For your health and ours, please buy any other game, and i hope you like it to the point you never stop playing it all day long and just stop bitching cus this is in fact pathetic, boring and is gotten old months ago.

You mean fantasy RPGs, right? Cus i hardly see the resemblance.

Did you try vampire bloodlines? It dated, but it really good.

More like sums up your negativity than the game. There are some things wrong...with peoples attitudes and expectations. That being said, I can't speak to FH, I'm a GOTY holdout. But after hundreds and hundreds (550 FNV, 500 F3, 530 F4) of hours, I'm happy. Happy with the games, happy with content (knowing the mod "community" is there to enhance and fix), and happily hoping for more, and improvements.

Actually - my 2 cents worth. I was GLAD with the release of Far Harbor. I was admittedly getting seriously bored w/the base game.

FAR HARBOR actually brought some LIFE to the game and it was seriously, IMHO, about time. *

I had a friend show me the "game" SIMS and I had to agree, the Vanilla Base Game was basically more FALLOUT meets SIMS.

IE:

Settlers and building the community.

The DLC to come Vault Tech and you get to "build" your own Vault. (very much SIMS. As I got to see SIMS in actions from my friend.

The DLC - Nuk-a-World is also from the READ going to be a SIMS / Settler as well.

I think this is why Fallout is likely going the way of the DoDo ... they have apparently run out of story ideas and have "dumbed downed" the game to be basically: SIMS.

But w/the release of Far Harbor and now some * GREAT QUEST MODS from the community, the game is actually more fun to play, a lot more fun!!

Remember how NV had all those great story saturated dungeon interiors, where cut-n-paste was replaced with room design to a PURPOSE. What does FO4 give us? A bowling alley that, what a shock, contains a ruined bowling alley. And yes, I know, the BA 'dungeon' in FH was a rare dungeon that had a teeny bit of a story. But even that interior was a cut-n-paste waste.

Yes, yes I do. They were from A World of Pain and not vanilla New Vegas.

Hahaha. Yes! So very much yes! That's exactly what I was thinking when I read that line.

This. Exactly this are my thoughts.

Except it's not going the way of the DoDo. It's still an immensely popular game that has sold a huge amount and was well received. All your post is is a giant obvious "I don't know what the Sims is but I've seen other people make this claim so I'm going to parrot it"

Your entire post is inaccurate lol. Just because they chose to put in a new mechanic doesn't make it "like the Sims or Minecraft".
