Current state of major settlement mods?

Hi all,

Just getting back into FO4 after many months and am curious as to others thoughts about settlement mods. Which major settlement mods are you using? Which combos do you like most now?

This seems to be a popular subject, as I made a thread less than a week ago on the topic. To answer your question, Homemaker and SSEX are fully supported with I believe Etheron taking over SSEX. Both of these can be merged/patched/combined, again I think it's Etheron that has a tutorial somewhere for that. Alternate Settlements (or is Alternate Homes?) has been superseded by Simply Modular Housing. Oh and Snap n' Build is still up and running as well. I'm using Snap and Homemaker, but that's mainly because I used SSEX in my last playthrough as opposed to preference over one or the other.

If you like clutter you'll also want to pick up OCDecorator and also all mods by Evanpox and Dinozaurz. Elianora also has a great clutter mod.

What I really want and have not seen yet, is lots of prefabs or adding in of settlements with dlc features. Like a settlement with a manufacturing line set up. Or an arena.

Or lastly, just adding in lots of pre-fab options that we can plop a house down and have it look nice. If anyone knows of mods that adds in those sort of features, please share :-)

There are some real gems in that list of yours. I liked the snappy stuff the most. Now all I need is a bloody mod to allow me to build in my slave er vassal settlements.

I have a few blood overhaul mods bookmarked if you are interested. I would recommend Blood, Rust and Bone, however, it replaces the Raider menu category from Nuka-Cola. If it ever gets fixed, that would be nice. I worked up a good bookmarking system from all the mods I've used and tested. I've probably spent 1000 hours over the past year with modding for Fallout 3, New Vegas, Skyrim, Oblivion, and Fallout 4. Unfortunately, I only have my Fallout 4 stuff currently. However, I haven't created any mods, yet as I'm learning tools right now.

I was using bloody in that context as a curse word, but bloody mods are neat as well. Anything though that breaks nuka world would be ruled out for me though. Its the one dlc for this game that I actually like.
