Lodbrok
Has the SKSE developers released any information if it will be converted over and if so, how long do they think it will take? I couldn't find any information.
Ethreon
You're never gonna find any of that kind of information. They never gave deadlines, and most likely never will. they'll probably release one though.

LordNyron
The SKSE team said they will make a version for Special Edition, they just didn't give a time frame as to when it'll be released. Most people have speculated that it will be within the first month at the most, but no one knows for sure.
N7R
They plan to make a SKSE for SSE but it will have to be rebuilt since this will be the 64 bit version of Skyrim. I don't think they can just convert over the 32 bit one. No idea if they will have an easier time making SKSE since Fallout 4 has a script extender and that game is 64 bit too. Only time will tell really. I get the feeling by the time December rolls around SKSE will be in some workable form, we'll have maybe the new Nexus mod manager in a basic form, and maybe SKY UI will have someone working on it (since a lot of past mods used that MCM feature). Either way next few months will probably be real quiet and then a giant explosion of stuff getting converted and created.
Ethreon
Nothing stops you from porting it over, if you think you got the know how. But I doubt you are allowed to share it anywhere publicly.
