No worries - I'm putting off any downloads until mid-week because I know it's going to be awful for you guys and for those people who are just now trying to get SSE mods. I can't do SSE until I get it on stick from a friend so.... as I said, no worries!

Good luck - hope things go as smoothly as possible.

I'm sure I'm doing something wrong some kind of way, but I haven't the slightest clue what and feel like I've looked at every option in NMM three times over at this point. Any thoughts?

I cant open nmm at all... not even when I try to open it using admin... I don't know what to do...

@writingyourtragedy

Same thing happened with me, but the easier way seems to be to just click the green plus sign to the top left of the mods list. Choose the zip file and it should show up on your mods list, install it from there. Worked just fine for me that way.

Nobody knew, what has changed and that a separate site would be needed for SEE. The team of Nexus could also have said: "Sorry folks, we need time to prepare. Check the new site in a few days."

Instead we still have the ability to manually install the mods we want. The fact the NMM isn't fully working is sad, but saying the team wasn't well prepared is a bit... ahm... wrong :).

Self-entitled much?

Speaking as a novice here and based on my limited experience with FO4, I dislike the "drag and drop" method as it doesn't keep up with the Mod updates. Granted that's not normally a big issue, but once upon a time I Drug and dropped AWKCR from FO4 and a few days later couldn't figure out why the site version was so much higher than my NMM version even though NMM was not flagging it as outdated.
Based on what I've read in the forums I'm "assuming" that's a NMM issue but to a neophyte modder such as myself (ahem, mod user let's be real) that's not an assumption I'm willing to bet the better half of a day to repair/redownload mods to fix if I'm wrong. Given how well everything here just seems to work (Kudo's to the staff and programs of the site BTW) when something doesn't, those of us who don't know better just assume it doesn't work because it's not supposed to. Interesting - I didn't see anything about the Nexus Mod Manager having problems with the online automatic download feature till today but was experiencing the same problems that everyone else was yesterday. Didn't take too much thought though to realize that you amazing people at Nexus were probably swamped at that was probably why the automatic download feature wasn't working.

Have to say that I think you all are awesome and really appreciate your work!!

Also have to say that I think the modders that contribute to this site are awesome as well!
