NCRForever
I'm a registered Constitutionalist. But, you did say "You all". That's a broad statement. Anyway, no big deal really.
Kraeten
My favorite comedian, and who I consider an occasional philosopher had this to say which I think is apt on the day of Trump's presidential win. "When you're born you're given a ticket to the freak show, and when you're born in America you're given a front row seat." - George Carlin Edited November 10, 2016 by Kraeten
Fatalmasterpiece
It's conservative backlash from 8 years of Obama. Meanwhile liberals and moderates were very untrusting of Clinton. The Democrats set themselves up for failure by providing a controversial candidate who could not unify their voting base. All Republicans had to do was supply a male candidate with conservative views. They could have had Mr. McGoo run as Republican for president and he would have won. TheMastersSon
And a wall would do what? Other than make shovel, ladder and rope manufacturing boom. A wall would provide an obstacle. Instead of just being able to walk across the border. They can put sensors in the wall to figure out if someone is climbing or trying to dig under it. As well as hidden cameras along the border combined with surveillance drones. This is 2016. The border patrol will be waiting for them on the other side for immediate deportation. I'm predicting Trump appoints someone like Sheriff Joe Arpaio to run the border patrol. If they can get past the wall and avoid Joe Arpaio's border patrol agents, and get around E-verify, then best of luck to them. Anyone familiar with the U.S.-Mexico border knows a continuous wall is impossible to build. There are countless miles of marshes etc on the border that can't support foundations for a wall. Trump's proposal is indicative of his reactionary nature, it's why I think we're in for an extremely rough four years. I will be absolutely stunned if he's not the one who starts WWIII. DrakeTheDragon
Why Trump won? Simple. Protest voters apparently are the way of the world these times and days. They will also be responsible for the NSDAP's official successor and their agenda to gain an unbelievably large number of seats in the next Federal Elections in my country, heed my words! In other news though... Nothing New in the West. Just Humans being Humans... or in other words, collectively going completely bat sh*t mental. :armscrossed:
TheMastersSon
Not to mention the Supreme Court in our own country. Half the court is on life support these days.
Aurielius
One small side note that I would like to add....All those celebs and members that proudly announced (expecting HRC to win) that they would become expats in exile if Trump won..Don't let the door hit you in your butt on the way out. What I find droll is the attitude that liberals had when Obama won..telling conservatives to suck it up because they had a 'mandate'......now when the wheel has turned they are unable to live up to their prior advise.Machievelli once said that revenge is dish that persons of taste eat quite cold.....I beleive that the poltical porridge is quite cold now. Just for the record I liked neither choice, it was much akin to picking between pestillence and the plague.
TheMastersSon
Judging from his campaign rallies it's more likely people who don't agree with Trump will be forcibly thrown out. That should really get those hate and revenge juices flowing. The longer we blame each other for our problems, the longer they remain unresolved, and if Trump is a master of anything it's blaming other people for our own problems. It's true from Mexico to China.

It's true from Mexico to China. In the US, it is more important to assign blame, than it is to actually solve the problem. This has been the case for decades. After all, if you solve a problem, you can't milk it for millions in government dollars any more.
