JimboUK
I myself am disappointed with the quality and quantity for mod, face facts the modders are just "Lazy, Over payed and under worked!" I've been waiting for someone to make my dream mod for years! A "Pack Man" total conversion!!!!!! It would be so fun to run around as an Eyebot, chomping on Mentats and avoiding Deathclaw! Get to it modders!!!!!!!! Sorry just had to! I want xbox vershun so do it or you hater who smells. Wow, this is escalating in the wrong direction, stop putting words I did not write onto me. I guess this is what a community does on these forums, someone says something, you push something that they didn't say onto them and keep on bashing. Congrats, you have become successful trolls. And you wonder why so many people leave Nexus community. Or why people don't endorse you. Sayonara. Read your first post, if that's not entitled I don't know what is. In five years you've only endorsed five mods and you've not contributed a damn thing, you have no right complain about those who do.
steve40
So first of all I would like to say I'm not criticizing or ranting.Translation: I am criticizing and ranting. I am grateful for ENBs or crafting fixes and CBBE and all that stuff, there are many enhancements in the game thanks to the modding community.I am thankful for all this. But I constantly think that a lot of stuff is missing from the modding community simply based on how much stuff Skyrim had in the short time since modding tools became available. And in the same amount of time all we get are re-textures, stand-alone mods for armours which are great btw, but there's so much stuff that could use a lot of love. I like how people point out that this is post apocalypse and are trying to be lore friendly. But you know what ?Being lore friendly is actually holding back the modding community. Misconception of Lore Friendly means mods have to look like they have been pissed on for 260 years. No, Lore friendly means lore fits in. There's so much that can be done and there are assets for it.Many modders released clean or clean-ish items. just because it's been nearly 300 years since the nukes doesn't mean everything has to look deteriorated, rusted or simply crumbling down. I seen a lot of "HEY! this is post apocalypse ! You can't REBUILD!" Uhm, no ? The first thing a normal person after a war would think about is, rebuild.Especially a Vault Dweller. I've seen a lot of low endorsed or shunned mods around for Sanctuary or other settlements that reek of crumbling down looks. But even more missed the mods that would allow a complete rebuild of the settlements. I don't actually see anyone trying to do it. It would also be lore friendly cuz after nearly 300 years, someone ought to say, "Hey, it's been a while, we have tools, we have cement, concrete, steel, aluminum and we can make generators to power stuff up, we CAN and should rebuild by now, so why no one actually did it ?" So yeah, after over 200 years, why no one actually started a rebuilding process ? Bethesda logic ? Please someone explain this to me. A mod to process this could have a very simple variable to it. A settlement like Sanctuary could have more improvements to the environment the more time and settlers come in.I'm also wondering why the 20 settlers limit though (+Companions if you send them to one place all the time). The logic is failing in here so much and everyone seems to be fine with it. I dare say, it's time to change this game. Get to it modders. P.S. True Nights+Storms are the best ENBs, now I actually need light in this game, thanks so much for these mods. Actually, it is YOU, Dear Entitled User, that is deeply disappointing. Quit making bulls*** excuses and pull your goddamn finger out :| http://66.media.tumblr.com/3f9e4430597505ff6e00c0525b8e57f9/tumblr_oc5acpIEFB1themldo1_250.gif Edited November 16, 2016 by steve40

Athanasa
I'm mildly irritated that, despite many people calling for a Death Alternative style mod, no-one will reply to a thread of someone trying to make it. VALIDATE ME! :( (But seriously, is it something people no longer want or something? It'd help to know before I pour months of my time into it.) VALIDATE ME! (But seriously, is it something people no longer want or something? It'd help to know before I pour months of my time into it.)It's not a bad idea but not nearly as cool as a Ms. Pac Man Total conversion. :woot: Seriously though, "make it and they will come!" if you want to make the mod then just don't worry about if people want it or not I can assure you that some people would love it. BlahBlahDEEBlahBlah
Ms. Pacman......switch all the enemy models out for Ghosts. The little pellet like pickups that DD had.God mode after a cherry mentat (generally placed at deepest/farthest point of a dungeon). To be played with sneaking/stealth in mind. Total conversion on a shoe string budget. ;-)
JoyTrooper
Wow, this is escalating in the wrong direction, stop putting words I did not write onto me. I guess this is what a community does on these forums, someone says something, you push something that they didn't say onto them and keep on bashing. Only when lazy, entitled and whiny children say they're disappointed and tell us what to do. Saying you're grateful means nothing when you at the same time make demands and talk as if people owe you anything. Only thing you accomplished was to come across as condescending and show us how ignorant you are in the community. You want to actually contribute, pick up the Creation Kit. You want to request mods, a little humility goes a long way. You want to sit on the sideline and whine and complain you can leave, we don't need that s#*!. Congrats, you have become successful trolls. That coming from the guy who made a pointless thread that adds nothing of value. And you wonder why so many people leave Nexus community. Or why people don't endorse you. Sayonara.Fist time I hear of it, must be just you.

gladiator49
I'm extremely thankful for mod authors and what they do however the one thing I'm disappointed in is the lack of mods for this game right now. It seems to me that Skyrim is far more popular amongst most modders and I understand Skyrim has been out for 5 years and this game 1 but by this point in Skyrim's life there were more mods than we have for Fallout now. Also with the new Special Edition of Skyrim being released I worry that many mod authors that might have come to Falllout and focus on making mods here may now go back to Skyrim to port old mods and create new ones. Just unfortunate because I much prefer Fallout to the Elder Scrolls and I can't go back to New Vegas after playing 4. Maybe it's just the move from 32 bit to 64 bit and so a lot of authors are still getting used to everything however I have no modding knowledge other than installing and managing them so I don't know. I think it's something to do with the constant patches for FO4 and the affect that has on F4SE which sort of puts you back on every attempt at doing anything. I think I also heard something about different bits of the game changing slightly so the tools used in Skyrim could no longer be used in the same way for FO4.
