Lisselli
I can't even bring myself to modding Skyrim anymore.. just feels like one big popularity contest. Most of the mods on Skyrim are from folks that have developer backgrounds -.-, so mod users have highly unfair expectations now.But the OP's big mistake is expecting the FO4 modding community to flourish in the way that Skyrim has. These are two entirely different fanbases, with the former being smaller. Also, Skyrim has a HUGE jump start over Fallout 4. CK has not been out long.. F4SE is up in the air at the moment, and just a lot of things are slow going. This is normal, imo. Even Skyrim started off slow. Do try your hand at modding. Don't beat yourself down before you even tried. I did not mod for Morrowind or Oblivion. When Skyrim released, I wanted to learn how to mod. Took several months, but I did get a few out. I am actually considering to mod for Fallout 4 when I'm done playing Skyrim SE. I'm mildly irritated that, despite many people calling for a Death Alternative style mod, no-one will reply to a thread of someone trying to make it.VALIDATE ME!(But seriously, is it something people no longer want or something? It'd help to know before I pour months of my time into it.)This has always been the major killer of modding interest. Not wanting/liking what someone has released/working on. Also having 0 feedback, hurts A LOT. Edited November 22, 2016 by Lisselli

Would I like people to play it and enjoy? Of course I would, but they are really just because I wanted to make them (except for Open Stands, that was a proof of concept for others...even though I hadn't really planned on making the guide...that just kind of happened). I've done more for other games under other various names, but none anyone would recognize.I just like Fallout better. =P I will say this, though, in a real response to the OP.A) I'm really starting to think we were being trolled.B) I don't really think anyone can dispute that the size of the Fallout 4 community is much smaller than it needs to be to *really*, *seriously* get going. Maybe after the SSE awe wears off again...but who knows. [shrug]

Not enough time to just poke around things like I used to. :( That and I tend to get SUPER focused on something, so I need to know if it'll actually go anywhere or not before I make it my "obsession" for a few months. You are the greatest modder alive! Now use that positive energy power to make me a Beholder to fight in FO4/Skyrim! haha @BlahWhat's this heresy about SSE wearing off? Don't you know Skyrim is the best? I will say this, with the community being small and less busy with a billion people, the forums, private messages and comments are more personable and I'm learning lots of stuff and new ways of doing things. It's cool to have this loosely collaborative coalition. I want to know about hollowing out buildings, there's an expert for that: chucksteel. I want to know about settlements: the Settlement Gang of tarsis, blah, and speedy in the settlement thread. I want to know about how a mod author managed to make something happen, I message them. chucksteel
It's cool to have this loosely collaborative coalition. I completly agree! I was looking to SSE for this exact reason. Let Skyrim and SSE have all the idiots! We don't need them.
genolune
They have a lot of talent but because of the sheer amount of people active, it all becomes noise. It's harder to sort the good resources from the not so good. Plus they produce content at an astronomical rate it's so hard to keep up. :(

I have a silly little weapon mod that I have no (real) idea if it even works, because no comments and only 18 users (no, I didn't expect a deluge of downloads, it's just a silly and tiny thing after all, but still...someone could say "broken" or "not broken"). Edit: I am fully aware that this statement kind of goes against what I said earlier. =P
