The mystery of the arrow to the knee!!

Half the Net is using it to say they're hooked up in Skyrim. I've seen all kinds of variations of it already. Still, no matter how old it gets, I think it has become one of Skyrim's signatures, and something tells me that Beth is going to remake and reuse the phrase in many games to come.

I was to become a dragonborn then I took an arrow to the knee and ended answering posts at Nexus :)

About the mystery I have a theory: Since having taken an arrow to the knee is a prerequisite to becoming a guard in any hold (due to guards fleeing the post at first dragon sight), most people hired friends to shot them so they could candidate.

Its getting as bad as all the Chuck Norris ones...

At first it was funny, but its starting to get annoying now

A Whiterun guard, Dovakin, a giant and Chuck Norris were sat round the the camp fire.

The Whiterun guard said "I took an arrow to the knee".

Dovakin scoffed and said "I took a one winged backwards flying dragon to the knee".

The giant grinned and said "Hey I took a levitating mammoth to the knee".

Good old Chuck rolled his eyes, said nothing and carried on poking the campfire with his tadger.
