Dimensionlord1
If you've been to the institute you might notice something out of place/wrong if you explore a bit. What is that you might ask? Well Bethesda decided to have the toilet paper rolls in the bathrooms to hang under rather than the correct way to which toilet paper should be on the roll, which is hanging over. I never play through the institute ending because I cannot let a place full of people who don't know how toilet paper works to live and always ending up destroying the institute as a result for that one reason. Someone please fix the toilet paper and put it in the hanging over position as is the correct way to hang toilet paper.
chucksteel
This is probably not an easy fix like you may assume. In older games it would have been a simple mesh replacer BUT we now have this NIFTY Pre-Combined mesh system which means you can't use a mesh replacer with out. 1. Simply Disabling Pre-Combined meshes for the cells you want to change. (Not so simple because your removing all of the games Optimization for that cell) or 2. Re-Generating Pre-Combined meshes for ever cell that uses the new mesh you want replaced. Odds are that little TP dispenser is a part of a Pre-Combined mesh so, just let this go and don't look at it. chucksteel
I had to make the esp for the replacer because for some reason the game refused to use the new version in the prewar player home. This is because the TP roll was part of a Pre-Combined mesh.
Athanasa
As a cat owner, those toilet rolls are positioned correctly to minimise chances of spontaneous cat based bogroll disassembly.
Dimensionlord1
http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/11357/?From the looks of it this only replaces the pre-war toilet paper rolls. Considering the pre-war portion of the game is like 4 minutes long that doesn't bother me much. As a cat owner, those toilet rolls are positioned correctly to minimise chances of spontaneous cat based bogroll disassembly. There aren't any cats in the Institute that I know of though. Perraine
My question is ... Who decided which way toilet paper should face? When was the law passed that criminalized placing a toilet paper roll on it's holder one way and not the other? From my own exhaustive testing, I've come to the following conclusion ... that it makes no F*****G difference to the smooth flow of paper from the roll. dragonslayer2k12
There sure is something wrong with that toilet paper! dark47
He, he. When I find our discussions becoming too close to arguments, I tell my wife, "let's discuss something important, like which way to hang the toilet paper." It usually lightens the mood a bit. I can't tell if the OP is just kidding around or if he's one of the "black or white" people who recognize no grey area. I personally feel toilet paper falls into the grey area - do with it what you want, just please don't decorate my trees with it on Halloween. AGreatWeight
So this must be the main 'resource' (and reason) that everyone was fighting over which caused The Great War?!On another note, you'd think that the geniuses at the Institute would have created a bidet by now... Edited March 5, 2017 by AGreatWeight
