Karmamuscle
Hi,I would love a mod that converts some of the static clutter to be craftable in the workshop. These are all available in mods that unlock everything, but I tried it and it is just cumbersome to navigate and my workshop becomes very sluggish. Like pallets. Plywood boards to put on the floor. Barrels and crates. Various cinder blocks, both single and stacked, and stairs. Small sand bags. I poked around the creation kit and found there are more junk fences than there are in the workshop. And there is an entire line of tall junk fences. - Karmamuscle
montky
@karmamuscleI hear that, sometimes is it possible to have too much of a good thing? nah hehenCr, nPr, n^X worth of settlement stuff hehe. -there were standalone cinderblock mods which had 17 different craftable cinderblock shapes,-there was a 'scraphouse' standalone house mod, which had different kinds of plopable pallets. blue, yellow. pink, green and different kinds of wooden.-plywood barriers and sandbags, i think DarthWayne or DDproductions have you covered on that.you're going to love the scaffolding scrap-walks and bridges you can make with those,as those also include the placeable plywood segments for windows. I can't provide direct links to the first 2, as it appears those were taken down or hidden or something.the same author as Pipes Galore also had some cement and concrete themed mods for a while too... they were awesome. I hope that helps, and provides alternatives to the other existing options. In the meantime, there will also be menu sorting mods in the pipeline, that will help you to sort mods as you like it,I'm particularly looking forward to an xml version, that will let you really customize how those menus can cycle, perhaps having different menu preferences per settlement, allowing for customized 'thematic' building at each settlement you make, depending on how you envisage it.this way, you won't be shown institute, enclave or prewar stuff anywhere but where you'd like it. BlahBlahDEEBlahBlah
I e got basic cinderblocks in this one:http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/21457/? Only one size (but with 3 textures, and they are snappable, in a Lego'ish way).Meant to do more (like the other blocks), but there seemed to be little call for the theme or improvements to it (or maybe it was just me, heh). Karmamuscle
Good morning and thank you both for the replies. @EthreonNo clue how I missed Plywood, should have caught that mod ages ago. /embarrassed Downloaded G2M Workshop and Vanilla Extensions, will look at it after breakfast. If there's wood pallets, barrels and boxes in either, I'll squeal for a few minutes. Was already using Snappable Junk Fences, doesn't add extra stuff though. Uninstalled it now, since your changelog on Vanilla Extensions says you've done snapping on junk walls. Trying to avoid Homemaker, had it before, but a lot of things I don't need cluttering up my workshop menu. Might give Thematical and Practical a go, though I would like to stick to things the game already has. @BlahBlahDEEBlahBlahI'll definitely have a go at your mod, though the images threw me off a bit initially.
Ethreon
I added all the junk fences, but did some small modifications to them for better snapping. I've also added Junktown fences if that's your thing.
Karmamuscle
Thank you again, got all my requests filled by already existing mods. If anyone else stumbles on this topic looking for similar help, I found a mod that has pallets in it.http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/14189/?Haven't yet tested it out with the other mods mentioned, so beware of that.
