That's true for any demographic, and in our country the major portions of every one of those crimes are committed by white people who are not migrants. So it's just a matter of what stories one chooses to focus on. Enough crime exists to allow one to take any fearful stand against any scapegoat.

Not entirely accurate..... Blacks actually commit more murders than Whites.....

 

I wonder how the 'causal' numbers are skewed by culture...... in the southern states, racism is more prevalent, and always has been. I would suspect it relates more to what folks are taught by their parents/peers, then their intelligence level.

Thanks for the correction, and it's also true for robbery. But overall (these are 2013 stats) the FBI reported 28% of Americans who were arrested for crime were black, just under 70% were not black:

Also well over four out of five murders in the U.S. are intraracial not interracial. 84% of white people were murdered by white people, 93% of black people were killed by black people.

We did just have the first black president finish two consecutive terms in office. So it seemed that racial tolerance- or acceptance was at an all- time high.....or was it? It seems to me sometimes that while some Americans are trying to put their racial prejudices aside, others are still following that dogmatic thinking centered around the US and THEM bs. And is the fact that white america is no longer the majority making some the silent embittered minority? And do "colored" people think that todays caucasion is still screwing them over? It seems to me this stuff will never go away.

 

Why can't everyone understand that different races are not the exact same and never will be. I do not get mad when I am critisized for being white. Stereotypes are distasteful but they are also true in some cases. The nerdy white guy who could'nt get laid if his life depended on it. The black guy standing on the corner drinking a 40 wit dim uder bros. The mexican migrant worker who parks their cars on their lawn. These are just some silly examples. But if we cannot accept these things about ourselves and LAUGH about them together then nothing will ever change. Why get mad about something when it is at least partly true? :dry:

You don't tolerate what you except and what is intolerable is there is more power to be had and more money to be made by those who dabble in dissension. This is not a white thing or a black thing and has nothing to do with race. It has to do with control of a narrative that is as old as man. I would ask you what mindset do you think a person needs to have to rely on stereotypes?
