Keanumoreira
Cheese and Gatekeeper rhyme? Haskill....HASKILL, W-H-Y haven't you told me about this?! He knows how much I love rhyming my dark little rhymes, and yet, he stands there...like an idle buffoon! I really need to cheer him up, he seems so adamant these days, so distant. Come to think of it, the Isles themselves are so deary. What will people think? What will they say? The other Daedric Princes drone on and on about how their planes of Oblivion are so much better, and I have nothing to show for it! Well now, we certainly can't have this. We need to come together, we need to throw a...a...a little tea party! It can be fun. We can invite the Gatekeeper, his addle-brained mom, my champion, Haskill, and of course...ME! We can rip out each others intestines and laugh over a cup of cheese tea. I'll let Haskill know to pass out the invitations... billyro
Actually, I've changed my mind. I'll hand out the invitations! Haskill is so orderly and dare I say fashionable for anyone to take seriously! Unless of course you like that sort of thing, but who am I to judge? Oh right, a Daedric Prince! Sometimes I forget the simplest things...Oh well, off to deliver some messages. Ta ta, I must go quickly before I chew off my own fingers!
Keanumoreira
Now WHY would you chew on your own fingers? Fingers aren't for dining, brains are for dining. Someone....please....SHUT....OFF....THAT....RACKET! How many times do I have to say it?! DO-NOT-AGGRAVATE-MY-SCREAMING-GARDEN! They don't like it when people ruffle their leaves! G-A-H! It's awfully difficult to be a Prince of Madness when all of these distractions are driving me MAD! Do you have any idea how impossible it is to be me? Huh? Do you? Hmm? Any? I have to roll out of bed every morning and skip merrily through the realm of nightmares JUST to wake up. Why? Because I bet my immortal soul in a game of cards and lost. Go figure. Then, I have to insult Haskill on how he's dressed, tell him a whole menagerie of reasons why I don't like him, and then, hand him a grocery list of things I don't even need just to torture his wee little soul. Did I mention I took it and kept it as a memento? It reminds me of me own. And then, I have to sit on an itchy throne all day, be the me that me am, go back to bed at the end of the day, and it all starts again! Not even a nibble of cheese to keep me sane! But then again, I wouldn't be doing my job now would I? I guess I never used the old nut I have up there. billyro
Come to think of it, I haven't eaten nuts in a long time either. Isn't that the strangest thing you've heard all day? The Madgod, without NUTS. No, scratch that; doesn't sound like what I intended. I'll just settle for the cheese. Thor.
Sort of off topicIs Sheogorath truly mad,??? if he is truly mad he wouldn't realize he's mad, in fact if you think it logically he's probably more sane then the rest of us, i mean he did help pelagius the 3rd after all. Is he mad or just really confused??? You decide, i mean whats his true purpose to help mad people or mad himself. i think after 10000 years he forgot his true purpose in life. You be the judge.. You would have to be mad to think this up??? Also he doesn't go all nuts on you if he wants help like that one time in shivering isle, or make no sense like the rest of the population there lol, at least he was nice enough to let that adventurer in and have a civilize conversation-also does it make him mad or sane, you be the judge. lol reverse psychology Edited August 21, 2012 by Thor. It's a bit of madness that is too mad to understand. Anyway, back to the intestines again...
Thor.
What makes a person mad?? is it just a person who thinks he's mad but in a sense he's sane- Sheo's probably one of the smartest Daedric princes around probably because he wants to be left alone, so he reinvents himself as being totally mad, but is he, is it that its his "smart" plan to out do the rest or he Daedric princes, or princess's, or he "wants" that image of insanity. You can't make up your mind that your mad or crazy, its a mental state of mind, anyone can think you are mad, but to be truly mad, you must have some sort of mental illness that can't be changed or reasoned with, unlike Sheogorath you can talk to him in a civilized manner. How does one define true madness, a person that talks all weird or is brain dead??? I believe the population has a certain illness that can't be fixed, but Sheogorath is a different story. http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/wacko.gif Edited August 21, 2012 by Thor. billyro
That, sir, was madness in itself. When the Greymarch comes, I'm naming YOU.
Thor.
Madness is an entirely subjective definition. There is no objective medical, sociological or even semantic criteria that can really be applied to form an unchanging definition. In RL or games. Mad is as indefinable as beautiful is. The closest you can get is something like "one whose mental processes are considered to fall x degree outside the recognised averages or norms". But the guy's a Daedric lord. What is the recognised average or norm for the mental processes of Daedric lords? There aren't even enough of them to form a large enough sample group to calculate an average for starters. Comparing to Tamrielic or Earth humans is equally pointless, as it's an apples and oranges comparison. Therefore, it is literally impossible for a Daedric lord to be either mad or sane, because madness and sanity can only be defined subjectively, and there is no available appropriate basis for any such subjective comparison. I agree, I brought in a specialist in the subject :D Edited August 24, 2012 by Thor. billyro
No wonder it is so special, then! Special like a pretty diamond, and I'm a raccoon. On the note of the game, how about we start going crazy again? It will be like a party! Edited August 25, 2012 by billyro
