Illiad86
Hm..yeah. Guess that's why you do your research and with the Internet, things can be falsified. Always good to get both sides of the story. Nothing truly dies. A person dies, but they're mark on history influnces others. Indeed. Maybe if this guy is stopped, it will end.. but in most instances it doesn't. Edited March 8, 2012 by Illiad86
Nintii
I once with a few friends joined with a group of American youth and went to Mozambique to help teach kids - I was 16 at the time - we lived in the villages ate their foodand generally helped out where we could but our main focus was education programs, like HIV and AIDS and the girls taught the other local girls on personal hygience and female issues while the guys focused on such things as job creation, education and such like ... one of the best experiences of my life.If I find any of the photographs I'll be sure to post them. Do you want to know why I have so much love for the US ? ... it's because the youth that i worked with were selfless in their love, giving and concern for a people they didn't even know ... surely they must be one of the most active nations in the world trying to root out injustices and bringing hope to the hopeless ... along with the Brits, Aussies, New Zealanders and Canadians. antonkr
Pointless. Good luck getting any REAL US intervention. He did not violate our economy, our security, nor anything that would have US hunting for this guy. If they really want, make their own army and find the guy, US is not getting involved in this past some 100 military advisers. We have no business going there. Flintlockecole
People can talk and argue about this all they want, but in the end the talking does absolutely nothing. "If you want something done, do it yourself". It's good to see people coming together for a good cause but I don't see too much coming out of it. Vindekarr
Yeah, well, if people didn't stand up for what's right despite knowing they probably didn't have a hope in hell, we'd have lost WWII. Just because a situation seems unresolvable doesn't mean it isn't, fairly, we didn't have much of a chance against the nazis, they had more men, superior tech, and fanatacism on their side, but they lost all the same. Why? because people stood in there way. Even the most powerful tyrants can be overthrown if enough good people take action, and kony is not the most powerful of tyrants. Indeed, it's irksome to see completely unrelated comment threads discussing a video game or something that are literally 100% "KONY 2012!" comments. I understand that people want to do something.. But it'd be less a waste of effort if they spam their stuff where it would be useful, like the government at the very least.
