KnorKater
Well, I don't get that "community" sense from you since you're constantly responding sarcastically to other members of this "community". I can assure you that Ethreon is quite active and helping others (for example modding newbies like me). against mod authors' right to sell their product But do mod authors automatically have the right to sell their mods? Or would it raise some legal questions with Bethesda? Since it's their game, and, in many cases, their copyrighted assets that are being modified. I don't know if there's a single mod that would be able to directly be sold without acting out an agreement with Bethesda, first. For me, personally, this site would be dead with payed modding, simply because I couldn't afford any of it. That's the very reason I avoid Bethesda's own implementation when looking for mods. I'm very glad the Nexus exists, and not the whole world succumbs to micropayments, which ultimately is what most payed mods would be. Therefore I think the way of giving something back to authors TheDark0ne came up with is a nice middle ground, in addition to donations. As for the design: For me, it still looks very similar to the old one. The basic layout didn't change much. This is not a "Windows XP to Windows 10"-change, this is a "Windows 2000 to Windows XP"-change in my eyes. Maybe TheDark0ne should create a very sh*tty Win10 equivalent and see how people suddenly start to defend the current new design. :v

And I'm not interested in convincing you or providing you with any proof. Just feel that you "win" the argument and be satisfied with your "need some glasses?" joke. Brennan
I'll add my nickel to your new design, I hate it. I also had no issues with the old layout. It was sensible enough, and it worked. This one sucks balls.
popay55
This new layout is really awfull! I''ve spent about an hour trying to get the best out of it but this actually made this site very harder and complicated to deal with. I think if you should leave the old layout and bring the new layout and let people choose what's best for them.

twowolves80
Well, -"we're still allowing users to access the old website design" - they completely ignore the users requests...hm.What the hell are you talking about? The reason they are not going back to the old design, as has been stated by Robin, TheVampireDante, Ethreon, and myself, among others, over and over and over: Vortex is dependent upon the new design in some way.The new site integrates (supposedly) with Vortex in such a way as to allow you to queue downloads via mobile when you may be at work on lunch break and just looking at new stuff on the Nexus on your phone. That is why the old design cannot be brought back, and anytime you are accessing the old site, you are doing so at the grace of the site owner. The old site and the new site use two different coding methods, two different formats. Mod authors would have to make two separate front pages for their mods, and then update both pages every time they updated the mod. So, thanks to you and your, "Ermagerd! I want the old site back!" the modders would have to do double the amount of work. Congrats! http://oi65.tinypic.com/2lngzg5.jpg In response to post #56618266. As if mod authors were meant to serve this "community" for free. "Sell their products?" Your verb usage is wrong. No modder anywhere is allowed to "sell" their product, because that would be a trademark violation. And most of the mod authors can and do serve the community for free because this community is where they live, and you want where you live to be nice. I still haven't seen any proof that the community is dead. Apparently, that 12,469 count under your name is the number of users of the community you carry on your back. Robin has the other 19,000+. lol Wait, let's check the Nexus Metrics Machine (patent pending):Nope, still alive. so the new pain in the ass layout will be mandatory right now. i can't browse with old.nexus, always give me error empty or direct to the new one. i'm not mobile user, even i'm trying for weeks getting used to new layout but i can't it was so confusing, laggy and messy for me.See the first portion of the post as to why you are being redirected. As for laggy, I call b.s. If there's lag, and you're in the US, you have Comcast and Ajit Pai to thank. If you're not in the US, you have whoever controls your interwebz. The new site uses coding that is up-to-date and therefore, will be faster than the old site. And lastly, thank you, Kit and Robin for fixing the cross-traffic problem (and you people say they don't listen). For awhile, you click on someone's name, go to their forum profile, hit the Nexus Profile button, and it would take you to the homepage of the new Nexus site, not their profile. Or it would take you to a blank screen. Now it takes you to the right location. Thanks!
