Vindekarr
I really like him as a person, and secondly, if you'll notice, that sort of symbology is extremely popular at the moment. I mean, I see atleast one Iron Cross a day. You need to understand that while for some people, the Iron Cross is a nazi symbol, it isn't for everybody, most especialy Germans. The "Iron Cross" is actualy a military medal dating back to Prussian times, a bit like a CMOH, it's an award for battlefield heroism. You wouldn't go after an Australian for painting a VC on his helmet, would you?
raatorotta
I watched the race too. Haven't seen Formulas in long time. Maybe I watched race because Kimi has returned.(I am Finnish) Anyway, race was fun to watch. It was interesting to watch because lot of battle situations and safety car was there and all. Yep, only in Germany mate. Only in the country that bespawned the SL-Black and Bugatti Veyron would they even consider putting an aeroplane engine on a truck chassis and then racing the obsurd hybrid. Vindekarr
Round two, Sepang, Malaysia. One of my favorite tracks, Sepang. That beautiful grandstand, the challenging conditions, the high chance of range and massive speeds all make this one a fun round. A race at Sepang is a roll of the dice-this is the tropics, frankly you have no idea whether it'll be a cloudless sky, or a monsoon. And sometimes it swaps between the two several times in an hour. This, and the opressive heat, combine to make this one a bit tricky. Prelimary results, observations: Top three: Pole: Lewis Hamilton(Vodafone McLaren-Mercedes)(medium tyre) Jenson Button(Vodafone McLaren-Mercedes)(medium tyre) Micheal Schumacher(Petronas Mercedes GP team)(medium tyre) Well I think the thing that stuck out most to me was just how beautiful the McLarens looked. Watching the on-board, that car is absolutely poised out there, Hamilton's pole-lap, despite a big lockup, was amazingly smooth-I didn't see him counter-steer even once-which implies their car is both beautifully balanced, and very easy to drive. A huge warning shot, perhaps even more so than Albert Park was. Secondly, just how fast the Lotus are-at the speed trap they've been consistantly flying, some of the fastest all weekend, and while a gearbox failure sees Kimmi starting 10th, their actual form was very impressive-there's nothing wrong with that car, it's miles better than last year and well capable of knocking on the door of the leaders in quali, maybe even the race. Thirdly, the field was close, amazingly close, less than a second in it in the top ten, and that's a big diference from last year. Driver can actualy make up that kind of difference if they push hard enough, and I can't belive just what a difference it makes, sitting down to watch qualifying and actualy having absolutely no idea who's going to be in the top ten. Last year the top ten was pretty fixed-there were five teams who could reliably be expected to be there. This year, it's much more flux. It's early days, but until the next revolutionary cheating device is invented, we can expect good racing. Damn good racing. Ferrari were dismal-the car looked... messed up, and this time Massa has no excuse for being out of the top ten-they're massively worse even than last year, nowhere near the pace, nowhere near the form, and now there's a rumor that Massa will be gone by mid year-after todays performance-which was lousy even for the car, I doubt he's long for the team. Red Bull weren't bad, but they weren't good either. However, the really interesting thing is that they'll be running Vettel on a very dfierent stratergy for tyres than the other top ten cars-starting him out on harder prime tyres. The prime/option difference isn't too big at Sepang due to the formidable heat and lack, so he may yet feature at the front, I wouldn't be surprised, since Red Bull are nothing if not very cunning. And finaly, Micheal in the top three. Just wow. Seeing the old coot bag third on the grid was just amazing, I knew he was capable of it, but that didn't deminish the thrill of seeing him do it. The rumor about Mercedes thoughis that they're running a very diferent setup here-more of a race-centric setup as opposed to the pure quali setup from Melbourne. Watch this guy, he and Rosberg will be wildcards tommorow.

Vindekarr
That was one hell of a drive from Perez, I can see him replacing Massa at Ferrari. Can't agree more, absolutely outstanding performance, to survive the conditions and still finish second-in a midfield car is no small feat. To do it on only your second season F1, is simply incredible. Amazingly well done.
