Kazuya482
Because LE has a far superior ENB, superior mod selection, HDT etc. It's also pretty stable if you practice proper modding and grab the fixes. SSE has issues of its own that were not/are not present in LE and it's host to the CC which can dismantle your game when Bethesda shits out a big enough update. It can also still crash, stutter, freeze etc like any game running on this now ancient engine.
Shubal
I have a heavily modded game and it is as stable AF at the moment. The nipples of my female npcs grow incrementally erect as their mood changes. Is that happening in SE? I'll wait for that benchmark to be met before I switch. I'm at lvl 140, closing in at 2000 hours, have over 180 esm's and esp's (alot of them are merged) and my game rarely CTD's.If you have, I think, a basic knowledge of modding, keep a good eye on your load order and not download mods indiscriminately you can have a very stable Skyrim. Is there mods that are only available for SE that are not on LE? Can anyone provide mod names please?
jesusristus
The "J takes to main menu not Journal" f*#@up is a reason alone to not use SSE.
Evilslayer
The only reason I have Skyrim SE on PC is because of a mistake. I'd just gotten my PC back from repairs and I had to reinstall everything. I didn't look properly on the screen and thought I was installing SKSE. If not for that mistake I wouldn't have dreamed of getting SE on PC. There are probably a lot of others like me who wouldn't even consider getting it because the only change is an unoticeable increase in graphics. So why shouldn't modders continue to support the original? Besides, it has a lot more mods. I'm glad I got it, though. For some reason it plays smoother. It doesn't stutter like the original version does on my PC. The "J takes to main menu not Journal" f*#@up is a reason alone to not use SSE. I use a controller while playing SSE. Rexeos
I play original Skyrim mainly due 2 factors: Kountervibe ENB and all option to customize my character.
Fkemman11
Don't like or want CC and I'm not sure why Beth decided to refresh Skyrim when they should have been working on something new or put more effort into making FO4. Plus every other reason mentioned. Played SSE when I first got it and was not impressed with the changes.
Evangela
There are claims it wont be another TES game this decade, so we're stuck with more rerererererereleases of Skyrim til at least 2020. For me personally, I was all for modding SE, and then all that crap with CC came a long + modding Oldrim is just easier at the moment.
siskulous
Don't like or want CC and I'm not sure why Beth decided to refresh Skyrim when they should have been working on something new or put more effort into making FO4. Plus every other reason mentioned. Played SSE when I first got it and was not impressed with the changes. As I understand it the technology to do what they have planned for TES6 doesn't exist yet, and even if it did they have a couple of absolutely massive projects ahead of it on their plan. By releasing SSE and CC they provided themselves an easy way to raise some capital while they're working on things that are going to take years to complete. Basically, it was a purely financially motivated move. I'm generally not a fan of those, but faced with the possibility of relying on long-tail income from old products while they're years away from any major releases I can see why they'd do it. Besides, as undesirable as it may be to do that I'd rather they take a month or two to update an older game and release it than release a half-finished game because they're running into budget restraints. (I am, of course, giving them the full benefit of the doubt here. It could just be greed.)
