Hexxagone
Not sure where to look for the news updates regarding them besides this forum.
Gummiel
Noone can tell you, doubt even the team making it knows, that said there are plenty of mods using it already and it works fine for many many people, so go ahead and use it really, if you need for some mods.Tbh considering there was already a fully function SKSE for oldrim, it imo makes no sense for it to be alpha, since most of the features should be there already just needed to be edited to work, so really should have just started it as beta if you ask me. Kulharin
I hear were currently stuck in a paradox... Mod authors won't update their mods to use SKSE64 yet because it's still in Alpha while the SKSE64 developer doesn't have enough mod authors testing their mods with SKSE64 to satisfy their beta criteria. Arthmoor
Meanwhile SKSE64 is perfectly safe to go ahead and use now. It may be tagged alpha, but that's in name only.
LeddBate
I can also confirm that it is working well with a variety of SE mods. If you have a large mod load and a lot of time invested in your current character, you can play it safe by trying out SKSE64 with your current load order on a new game. If you don't have a issues with your mods and SKSE, it should be fine to try it with your main character.
