Deathbane2626
First few days I tried Vortex I loved it cool new interface, a dedicated download section, support for saves and love the profiles. Ran into some hiccups but overall I like it a lot. Not being able to handle load order the way I'm used to was a big curve ball but after learning how to set up my tools, things smoothed out. That being said I just tried to install all my usual textures. I made it about 5 mods in before the rules setup got so confusing. I spent 3 hours trying to get 5 mods with rules to work together and the red error in the corner wouldn't go away. It was very frustrating. That being said I do like the program and my experience with it have been mostly positive. I do look forward to the full release. Thanks,Deathbane Edit: I appreciate the help guys. I'm going to keep working with it. I was just giving my opinion on the good and bad I've had with Vortex. Thanks Again
Lazybob1
IIRC any unresolved install order problems should have red lighting bolts next to conflicting mods.
HardwareSc8
And also, sometimes Vortex isn't really good about taking the red lightning bolt away; the conflict may be resolved but it still shows as red.
HalfLazy
Yes, most of the times the conflict is solved but not removed, simply manually dismiss it and wait if reappear.
cyranul
I slightly suspect that the conflict is usually caused because the Mod author has not properly named the file, so you wouldn't be sure what you are overwriting. As an example, currently I'm Trying to decide whether "Main V1" should be loaded before or after "All in one v1" or not, I'm sure I already know that after my mass download and fresh install of windows and games (*wipes forehead*), but if the mod Authors won't update (maybe they stopped caring) perhaps a tab mentioning what page you downloaded them from would help keeping track of things....Not that I need it of course... <.< 0.0 >.> *Wipes Forehead*

Are your mods not named `Vanilla Optimized Textures` (the actual name of the mod) but instead `Main V1-24-1-1` (filename of the downloaded archive)? Cause that's a bug that's been reported here already. Workaround: You can rename mods from the double-click-on-modname-flyout-window thingy. Speaking of "Vanilla Optimized Textures" have you found a way to install it using Vortex? When I try to install it using Vortex it presents "Choose your Mod Manager" and the only options are ModOrganizer or Nexus Mod Manager.
