Name: Xallistine

Race: Ulitharid

Age: 870

Class: Sorcerer/Loremaster

Alignment: Neutral

Deity: Ilsensine

Place of Origin: The Underdark

Appearance: Xallisine, like all Ulitharid, stands at almost 7 and a half foot tall, towering over other lesser Illithid. He possesses six writhing tentacles which surround his mouth, which is full of sawlike teeth. His two extra tentacles, which all Ulitharid possess, are often used like an extra pair of hands, although are still deadly weapons should he need them. His skin is of a dark purple hue.

Armor/Clothing: Xallisine wears long flowing ornate robes, the inner being black as night, and the outer of his robe in a dark purple, the edges of his sleeves trimmed in blue. His robe is embellished with small bones, running down every seam, and keeping the robe in it's rigid position. it possesses large spiked shoulder pads, an ornate skull belt, and a towering collar, going far above Xallisine's head.

Weapon: Naturally skilled with the arts of the mind flayers, he possesses powerful Psionics, but rarely uses them outside of conversation, and dominating minds. His true skill lies in his Sorcery, with a black wand he casts powerful spells, mostly to defend himself or hinder his foes.

Personality: Xallisine is a surprising specimen of the Illithid Nobility. While he possesses arrogance, he largely tones it down, with years if study into other races, he has learn that such arrogance of the Ulitharid, can only lead to there downfall. So on the rare occasion he is engaged in conversation, he can speak many different languages, and is known to be polite and curious, if not friendly.

History: Xallisine was born a noble of the Illithid race. After advancing through the stages, and becoming an Ulitharid, he developed differently to his fellow Elites, he was seldom arrogant, and rarely lorded over his peers and underlings. As the years went on he cared for the Elder brain in his community, and learnt much from it, once he felt he had done enough, he moved into solitude in the Underdarks gloomy corners, where he recorded and catalogued many events and happenings, and bent many other creatures to his will, to learn all he could from there minds, and released them back into there communities. With an extensive library, of many rare tomes and books he has managed to obtain, he spends his days learning all he can, recording all he can, and seeking out great secrets... he wishes for a day when travellers in the underdark would speak with him, as he could learn from them, and they could learn from him.

Hehe Bishop the creep. I still like him though.

Oh and btw... how do you know Drow language? Is there some sort of book available? I've been using this translator because the only D&D book available in my country is Miniatures Handbook. :hurr:

That's what I'm using. :P

There's also the "Reader's Guide to the Legend of Drizzt," but it only has a handful of words in the back.

Name: Byron Thunderbeard

Race: Dwarf

Age: 130

Class: Alchemist/Inventor

Alignment: Chaotic Neutral

Deity: Dugmaren Brightmantle (Dwarven god of inventions, discovery and scholarship)

Place of origin: Underdark

Appearance: Short with a long, heavily stained beard and singed eyebrows. Hands are rough and calloused, stained permanently by potions, and inventions backfiring.

Armour: Steel Scale Mail

Weapon: War Hammer

Personality: Indifferent, Only cares if it involves his inventions, drinking, or killing monsters, especially Drow, as he harbours resentment toward them from the Underdark, however he will not ignore a cry for help

History: Byron originally lived in the Underdark, with the Sverfneblin or Deep Gnomes. He was particularely good at making potions, and things that exploded. Because of his tendency to cause explosions, he was forced to leave the Gnome city and wander the Underdark, and three times had to escape Drow Slavers. He escaped to the surface during the Drow-Elven war incited by Jon Irenicus before the Bhaalspawn Crisis. He set up shop in the Slums of Athkatla, until he once again blew something up, and was forced to leave town in a hurry, i.e by the explosion that sent him into the air. Fortunately, he landed in a pond, and has been wandering ever since.
