"Sometimes, you have to step outside of the person you've been and remember the person you were meant to be. The person you want to be. The person you are." ~ H. G. Wells

Nice one! Very! It captures the you are what you decide you want to be thing - that you don't have to be what you've been made into. I like that!

I sat at the table looking upon the food we were served as someone said words suggesting a great person made all of it possible.  I had a thought.  What if I could ask the omnipotent being what he might change if it ever was something in question.  I heard myself muttering in my own words instead.  I don't what?  It's all work to me!  Worked 8 days and seven nights.  When I was finished I looked at what I had done.  Went bed.  Got up the next morning.  More work.  Even thinking up ways to play was work.

Work, Work, Work!

(An ancient elven poem)

When the elder trees become week and fall dry, our kingdom hold may die, but the ages long ago will never die, people will never forget, our ancient tales, of the old and dead.

(The saddest part was this was based off of the ancient fires of ancient continent Arcadia.)

More technically this poem was translated from greek and was written in ancient greece based off the mythological event of the fall of arcadia.

Some of the myths go way, way, way back. They must be very fundamental to human psyche. The Greek plays are worth reading too. Oedipus Tyrannus is one of my favourites. The comedies are fun. But I have to admit, sobbing through Oedipus Tyrannus and Medea is very cathartic! 😀

But back to the sheep...

I love the Nietzsche quote which is used in Baldur's Gate 1. It seems very apt there  because of the story line but it's not exactly what Nietzsche meant. I still love it in and out of the game though.

“He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster . . . when you gaze long into the abyss the abyss also gazes into you”
― Friedrich Nietzsche

I have researched thoroughly to discover everything about the ancient world.

This is a quote Athena told me in a dream:

*Only those who try to make a change will, most people think that someone else will do it for you, but only you can truly accomplish it as everyone else is waiting for someone to make the first move, sure I have seen continents fall, civilizations collapse but nothing is truly lost if the spirit lives on through the living today.*

"You see, the knowledge of death changes everything. If I were to tell you the exact date and time of your own death, it would shatter your world completely. I know. Can you imagine what it feels like to have someone sit you down and tell you that you're dying? The gravity of that the clock's ticking for you? In a split second, your world is cracked open. You look at things differently. You smell things differently. You savor everything, be it a glass of water or a walk in the park, and most people have the luxury of not knowing when that clock is going to go off. The irony of it is that it keeps them from really living their life. It keeps them drinking that glass of water, but not really tasting it."

- John Kramer, Saw II

I've never slept a wink.  Until I knew that there was another definition of what a wink is?

Now I have slept many a wink!  Here have one of the other kind, from me, just for reading this post.  😉
