Zanderat Posted August 3, 2018 Posted August 3, 2018 I just imported FONV from NMM, but all the mods show "disabled". I know I can enable one by one. An "enable all" button would be pretty handy. Thanks.
rmm200 Posted August 3, 2018 Posted August 3, 2018 I could have sworn we already had an "Enable all" for mods - but I guess it is just for plugins.Make sure you enter this from within Vortex as a Feature Request. Three dots in upper right corner.
Rattledagger Posted August 3, 2018 Posted August 3, 2018 On mods-tab, select one of the mods and hit ctrl + a and you can enable/disable/install/re-install/remove all mods. It's the same for plugins-tab but here you can only enable/disable all plugins. Two other common selection-methods is to use shift + mouse or ctrl + mouse.
rmm200 Posted August 3, 2018 Posted August 3, 2018 Bah - when I first went and tried Ctl A, I swear it did not work. Tried it again - and it all works as expected. No feature needed.
Zanderat Posted August 4, 2018 Author Posted August 4, 2018 I know Tannin will say "common Windows" function", but most apps don't behave that way. Hopefully stuff likes makes it into a procedures doc.
Tannin42 Posted August 4, 2018 Posted August 4, 2018 Do you have an example of a windows application that doesn't behave that way?

If you've just switched to mods-tab or plugins-tab it won't work, you need to select one of the mods/plugins first before ctrl + a works.

I knew that you were going to say that! I guess I didn't word that correctly. Of course Windows apps use that function. It should just be documented that it uses standard some Windows short cuts. It never even occurred to me that CTRL-A would work.
Grestorn Posted August 5, 2018 Posted August 5, 2018 I somewhat agree. Even Windows doesn't hide that function. Windows Explorer has a "Select All" button in the ribbon and previous version had a appropriately labeled menu item, which also showed the keyboard shortcut.
