Put your face in Skyrim

Is there a way to take a photo of yourself and make your character or an NPC look like you? I think it would be great to play yourself or have NPCs have your friend's faces. Any help on whether this can be done would be greatly appreciated.

pretty much down to getting a mirror, starting up the game from scratch or using the "showracemenu" command in the console and then look in the mirror and copy the features using the sliders..

or you could use a photo..

Directly speaking - No.

Each face in Skyrim is made up from a major collection of adjustable attributes, like that used within the initial charactor setup at the very start of the game (or if using the showracemenu command) - so it's way more complicated than say just coverting a photo to a game texture.

You could use the charactor creation menu to make a face that you want, then find the face data within the Creation Kit and apply that face data to a NPC so you could effectively include multiple customised faces at once. You can also adjust skin tone / colouring within CK too.

LOL! I had this idea while dreaming last night.

It would take some pretty wicked software, which sadly remains unavailable to anyone except NASA.

So sadly, no. However, there's a lot of Brad Pitt and other celebrity savegames out there, so some people obviously have talent for it. However, emailing them your pic is kinda awkward. Oh well, maybe next TES game. :)

Guys have you seen those programs tha scan your photo and tell you witch celebrity you look alike? What if someone could make a program that will scan your photo and as a result give you some presets? But i think it will be very hard to do this, but also i think if someone will manage to do that it will be the top mod ever!

I have been trying really hard to do this, with little luck. There are some programs that do a good job of making a 3-D image fro ma picture (look up Vizago and/or Faceworx), but sadly, I have no idea how to convert those into Skyrim. Probably would require some skill with Blender or another program to make custom meshes and textures which I do not have.
