AWKCR and CBBE conflict in Vortex

I can't find a way to fix it. Seems to me like it is one or the other. My understanding is that they both change character meshes so obviously they conflict with each other. This is, of course, fairly sad. CBBE is a really decent mod with amazing extensions. If you want something similar (but less expansive) try EVB. EVB does not conflict with AWKCR or anything that I've found for that matter.

came here for help... can't believe how unhelpful these responses are.. even this one, lol.

 

Edit: One or both of them need an update. AWKCR is currently on v8.4 and CBBE on v2.6.1

 

AWKCR also has a patch option for CBBE during install "AWKCR v5.0-CBBE Patch v2". That may be worth checking as well. :thumbsup:

Have you tried running TESEdit (renamed for fallout 4), Wyrebash and/or LOOT programs? It will usually inform you of any conflicts you are having, and loot will usually tell you how to fix them.

So I just tried the patch you mention, but that did not help. I've also tried changing the load order - either loading AWKCR before or after CBBE and neither seems to help. Vortex seems to recognize when there is a conflict, but usually does not provide any suggestions for fixing them. Any other suggestions?
