shadow85
I wouldn't mind playing FO4 again after a year break. But I remember I had so many mods it is overwhelming to think about installing the game and the mods again. Can someone suggest for me. Best Visual mods:Textures, sweetfx, weather etc. Best Difficulty increasing mods:Less loot, less money for items to sell, more cost to buy, tougher enemies/bosses etc.

Deleted58783396User
for best textures i strongly recommend these mods: Flaconoil HD Textures: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/3747 (probably the best out there imo) Langleys HD Textures: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/23500 (for other textures, not covered by the above mod) Valius HD Textures: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/318 (for even more textures) All of Luxor8071 Textures: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/users/50525966 All mods linked are of high quality and make a huge difference. i run all of these and they cover Pretty much everything. For weather, you either have Truestorms or Vivid Weathers, i personally prefer True Storms.
shadow85
Thank you Pry! Gona take a look at them. So they cover pretty much everything? Do they cover interior textures and weapons etc? Deleted58783396User
everything as in landscape textures, the more important textures basically, that will always be apparent throughout the entire commonwealth and will make the biggest visual difference. other texture mods i recommend are: Clean water of the commonwealth: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/16297 - (very nice water textures, not covered by the above recommendations) Water enhancement textures: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/20775 - (further increases the water textures, strongly recommend installing with the above mod for lovely water textures) Weapon Textures: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/24460 - (i use all of this guys weapon retextures, they are of high quality) Crows and Creatures redone: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/13488/? - (considerably better textures for most if not all creatures in the game, strongly recommend this mod) my above recommendations followed by these additional recommendations, will cover a very wide amount of textures, all of these recommended mods together will cover almost everything that will be immediately and consistently apparent throughout your entire commonwealth exploration. i dont use mod guides (in any form) so i cant comment on it. Deleted58783396User
and a couple more, which i highly recommend for even more textures, for npc and creatures: Unique NPC: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/21248 (Gives great diversity of textures for all NPC, with the exception of Companions) Unique NPC Creatures and animals: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/24357 (made the by same guy, this mod greatly diverisfy the creatures and animals in the commonwealth) both mods are massive however, but so worth it, for complete diversity i could recommend a lot more, but honestly you dont want the see the entire page of mod recommendations  so i will leave you with these last 2 recommendations above
shadow85
No you can reccommend me some more if u want lol. Goddamm there is just so much, this is what I was afraid of by coming back to FO4, the overwhelming amount of mods I would want to install before playing again..... *sigh* What about the eso Ultimate immersion list: https://eso-ui.com/fallout4
Deleted49413338User
I really like Unique Creatures as a concept, but for unique NPCs idk, feels like there are maybe too many modded outfits that are the sort of clean variety and not really wasteland-ish. But, if the Vanilla game was created to have more sort of economic tiers similar to a universe like Star Wars for example, it would probably fit better. Vanilla Fallout only has the institute and the wasteland. It needs some larger Settlements/ NPC towns that are not institute level cleanliness but are more advanced than diamond city /bunker hill. I feel like a DLC should have been a major trading hub like this. Oh yeah for mods I would always go Horizon of course And Gas Masks of the Wasteland is pretty awesome too.
