derpington83
Coming from NMM, I was wowed by the huge performance difference in switch mods quickly out to installing new ones. The sheer amount of steps that are removed is just incredible. The ability to sort and change how your mods are loaded without having to use LOOT is awesome. That being said, if you are moving from NMM to vortex, you are going to run into some issues due to the fact that NMM still has it own dirty hands still on your games. I am currently running win 8.1 pro on a asus Mboard with craptastic USB ports. If I can get vortex to work flawlessly on this thing, you can to. Let me hear your feedback on your problems. XxNightFlashxX
if you could help me on this one i will owe you dude, do you know what's happening with the manager and the downloads stuck on pending? i got vortex a few days ago and man let me say that getting used to it was kinda hard coming from nmm but once i did i realized how great it actually is, but all that came to an end when my downloads stopped working for some reason, my connection is actually good (having in mind that i have a 3.8 mbps plan) and i had steady downloads through the manager with 350 kB/s which was great but suddendly after a few days any mod i tried to download using the "vortex" option on the site would get stuck on pending forever, no matter what i did, i tried manual downloads but those seem to be also limited to 10 kB/s which is ridiculous because after a minute they get cancelled, keep in mind that i did tests on my connection to see if it was a problem on my end but no my connection is actually fine, this issue has been driving me nuts because i did the stupid thing of unninstalling vortex to see if installing it again could fix the issue but then i remembered that downloads from the nexus site were also screwed so i'm stuck here unable to even download the manager again. Even if you don't have a fix man, its fine if you can tell me at least what's going up with that lol Sorry for the long post :(

Guest deleted34304850
that error occurs quite frequently; if you put this search term in google; yaml.cpp site:forums.nexusmods.com you'll see it's not a vortex issue, it's down to a loot masterlist.yaml file. the solution is to simply rename/delete the offending masterlist.yaml file and have loot/vortex recreate it.
