K4miKaZe85
I´m pretty sure that between 11.92% and 11.95% (cant go exact, sorry) of all nexus mods (including all games here) are not installing fine on Vortex. Trust me, im not a liar xDDD Jokes apart, there is no perfect mod manager, have found few mods in past that were not installing fine on vortex but working on nmm and some on nmm that didnt work but worked on vortex.Just take the mod manager you like more, should be fine in almost all cases
AugustaCalidia
Well; I guess I'm not the only one who does not like Vortex? So far for me it was not too difficult to use Vortex. What is a pain is that not all mods are user friendly with Vortex. Most of the mods that I used on Nexus Mod Manager will not work on Vortex. Also Vortex is more work in order to use it properly. As it was when I switched computers (upgraded to windows 10) I had to reinstall Skyrim and Fallout 4. When I tried to use the same mods in these two games; it rejected more than half of my downloads. I was so fed up with Vortex I wanted to dump the games and Nexus all together. It's not worth the frustration to put up with the headaches caused by Vortex. So if you're against Vortex I can see why. What Robin Scott sees in it I will never know. Unless he has some magical way of loading mods that we don't know about? I can see why Vortex is hated and why NMM should be brought back SincerelyRaum777 Nine months ago I installed Vortex and never looked back. I transferred (actually imported) several hundred mods. I was able to install every one of them with little or no trouble. You don't need magic to install mods with Vortex. You just need to read the instructions and know what you're doing. And that's true of any mod manager. Anyway, the purpose of a mod manager is to help you install the mods you want so that you can play and enjoy your games. If Vortex is not allowing you that enjoyment, then by all means switch to something else.

Raum777 ... Vortex is very simple to work with and it does require to be installed properly, 3 settings to be turned on and start downloading/installing/enabling your mods. Believe it or not ! I was one that insisted on having written procedures and the dev staff have developed those procedures to make it easier to new users in their interaction with Vortex. I can say now that there are thousands of words in those procedures, dozens of hours of work invested in the creation of those procedures and videos ( by Gopher ) and only less than a single dozen of things that you need to do to make Vortex works for you or anybody else. The problem is that people dislike to read and investigate. All the people who have succeeded with Vortex, have posted a lot of shortcuts to make it easier for them how to install Vortex and set it up correctly and still, that does not help. I have come to the conclusion that it does not matter how many procedures and videos are in place or how much effort we put to help others in this forum, it just not working. I could go on and extend myself here but to what end ?

HadToRegister
I just hate Vortex so much it is not user friendly can we please get the old manager back You couldn't even be bothered to read how to download NMM that was posted RIGHT HERE AT THE TOP OF THIS PAGE, you didn't even bother to LOOK UP. ^ NMM never went away, and the download link has been posted on this very same page. Click on DOWNLOAD VORTEX, and scroll down the page until you get to the github link
TheVampireDante
This has been drawn out long enough. People can still get NMM from Github if they want it. Closed.
