JimboUK
Is it updated enough? Probably not. The multicore thing being right there on the top of my list. Of course, I am not aware of any software that I use on a regular basis, be it games, or MS office, that makes proper use of multicore processors.... If I am multi-tasking, then sure, but, when I am playing a game, multi-tasking isn't part of the equation. Comparing ESO to the Fallout/TES games? Two entirely different directions there..... Also, not modable....... I haven't played ESO, it just isn't my cup of tea, so, not real familiar with it in any event. The "Dice Roll" system in Morrowind was a carryover from Pen and Paper RPGs. You know, when CHARACTER skill was the determining factor, not PLAYER skill. I think the biggest complaint with Morrowind combat was watching your sword pass completely thru your enemy, but, doing zero damage....... Still and all, MW was my favorite TES game. As the games progress, with each following game, we see features removed, streamlined, "updated".... but, not all changes are for the betterment of the game. They are so the game appeals to a wider audience, hence, more profit. Some of us actually WANT a REAL RPG. With skills, and abilities, and stats. Unfortunately, we seem to be in the minority, so, game companies aren't real inclined to cater to our wants. All Morrowind needed was a miss animation or even "Miss" appearing on the screen like Kotor, then it wouldn't have looked broken. lithan1
One of my main problems with it was how you miss almost Ever. Damn. Time, *Attacks dozens of times, only hits once* people b&@*$ about combat in Oblivion and Skyrim being a button masher but really Morrowind was a button masher as well, but more frustrating Edited December 5, 2018 by lithan1
HeyYou
One of my main problems with it was how you miss almost Ever. Damn. Time, *Attacks dozens of times, only hits once* people *censored* about combat in Oblivion and Skyrim being a button masher but really Morrowind was a button masher as well, but more frustratingIn Oblivion, you never missed, at low levels, you simply didn't do much damage. I actually preferred the morrowind system over that..... In Morrowind, if your skill was low, yeah, you missed a fair bit, but, once you get your skill to 30-35, you missed a lot less. Also, you had to make REAL sure that the weapon you were using was inline with your chosen skills. A master of short blade could still suck with a longblade. :)

I started off with my level 1 character punching Rats in Balmora, once I got to 50% I was able to go to one of those caves with names like "Lollopalooza" and "Surrup" with Bandits and beat the snot out of them. My my low level character is now punching Dremoras to death.
lithan1
Hey it's your preference, I wasn't a fan of it but i'm not shitting on anyone's opinion if they did like it, just please don't try to argue that it's better than Oblivion and Skyrim like it's a fact, cause that's entirely subjective

DoctorKaizeld
I'm really not making a joke or false claim. Morrowind has a better story, better in-depth characters, better well-detailed quests, a wide range of weapons and armor, a wide range of enemies, a massive map, better character creation (for skills and stuff), detailed magic and better potions. Oblivion and Skyrim only beat it in visuals and combat. not saying Oblivion and Skyrim are bad... at all. Just Morrowind is actually a better game. It just needs a remaster. lithan1
VercLen has posted the link to xEdit for Fallout 76. Approved for modding Fallout 76 is posted at the site VercLen's thread points for us to look. A BIG https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/7153951-xedit-334-beta-now-with-fallout-76-support/?p=65193136 for anyone who stillthinks modding for FO76 isn't allowed. Don't take my word for it, Check the xEdit web link and see if you think it's legit. I'M JUST A PLAYER, NOT A MODDER HERE! :sweat:Edit: Woops, I swear I thought I was quoting someone else, my bad Edited December 8, 2018 by lithan1
