You roused my thoughts to ponder back when I have had to tap the radio button to scan for new stations. I have to do that once in awhile when the radio back up battery dies. I hear new songs when that happens. Some of them are older then the hills and twice as dusty that I've never heard before. Just like some of the heavy metal, new wave, new Gospel, Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer too.

I just listened to a song by Roger Miller >

It's words are kind of weird. I listened to it all the way through anyway.

I usually listen to stuff like Rite of Spring, and Ligeti's Atmospheres (I've replaced the opening menu music for Fallout 4, 3, and FONV with "Atmospheres" it's much better that that Inon Zur stuff.
When 2001: A Space Odyssey was first aired on TV back in the early 70s, I couldn't wait to watch "The space film", but was in complete awe when the black screen sat there, and Ligeti's Atmospheres started playing, and stayed black some more, then it faded in, to the Dawn of Man, and I was hooked.

In the car, my thumbdrive MISC playlist has Perfect Circle, Jefferson Airplane, Alanis Morrissette, Sex Pistols, Gary Numan, David Bowie, Frank Zappa, Dwight Ashley, Lustmord, Shpongle, Jay & the Americans, Glenn Campbell, Nat King Cole, Moody Blues, The Guess Who, John Taverner, Wagner, Renaissance, Medieval and a couple of Rave tracks

Just out of idle curiosity, how old are you? I mean, Jefferson AIRPLANE? That's is definitely 'classic'. :)

Ooo! I heard some music by a couple named Roy Rogers and Dale Evans. Then I heard Gene Autry singing Rudolph the Rednose Reindeer. I did a Google search and found out SiriusXM is having Xmas season broadcasts on several stations. Even Howard Stern or Stearn... What ever.

Chipmunks and David Seville.

There's nothing weirder Weird Al Yankowitz.

And than songs like the ASCPA ha ha ho ho he he. They're coming to take you away.
