Fully virtual deployment

I've just uploaded an extension that adds a new deployment method to Vortex that is based on the usvfs library, same as MO2:

https://www.nexusmods.com/site/mods/37

This gives you fully virtual deployment, meaning no files or links actually get placed in the game directory, although there are drawbacks (see mod description).

Please note that this extension is absolutely experimental atm. Also, it's not officially supported for now, please don't report issues you have with it to the Vortex feedback system, instead use the bugs tab on the mod page.

I would also appreciate if you posted the games you tested this with and whether it worked or not (worked as in: You installed a mod and the game started with this deployment method and saw the mod or not. For example it has been tested to work with the bethesda games, Neverwinter Nights and Subnautica. If you have trouble with those games, it's something else.

If you have a fundamental problem, like Vortex crashing, please do NOT post every single supported game and say: crashed with that too).

Unless you flat out need me to test something - I would not be a good candidate for this.

I like what you have done with Hard Links.

I like having my mods on the same drive as the game (hard link limitation).

I really really like being able to use my modded games without having Vortex up.

I really really like having external changes detected.

Very good chance this will keep the MO2 holdouts happy though. Glad you added it!
