HeyYou
that is some rant. kudos for you for really going at it.just a shame everything in the post is wrong.Oh come on, why should he let something so incredibly insignificant as being wrong, stand in the way of a good rant? It's entertaining to read at least. :D What's funny is, the fact that he IS so wrong, and this is information that has been commonly known just this side of forever. I decided I might just as well go for 'supporter', and DOUBLE my download speed, (yes, I use an ad-blocker) and saw that for less than 2 bucks more, I could go premium for a month. (not that I have been doing a lot of downloading of late....) So, since Nexus has been providing me this wonderful service for so long, I thought I might just as well spend the extra couple bucks, just as a sort of 'Thank You'. :D
Deleted54170User
Oh! For those days when the pizza delivery guy had to deliver in under 30 minutes or it was free. Oh! The struggle we had when it was only 1 minute late, but the two of us could not agree. How many people synchronized their watches with the delivery person before they left the Pizza parlor? Raise of hands? Anybody?! That plan didn't last. Then there was the sneaky neighbor who found a way to tap into another neighbors Internet connection using a little very widely shared technique. Anyone who watched Call for Help, TechTV, etc., could learn from others mistakes how to protect their ISP modems and such. And the neighbors children learned how to hack their parent's equipment from watching them as well. It wasn't me Father, It wasn't me Mother! (Leo Laporte and Patrick Norton arguing on the TV at that moment) It must have been War Drivers. WAR DRIVERS?! The owners never changed the username and password so a hacker that could link in just signed in as Guest, and used the password; you guessed it, Password. Now, I don't know where the author of this thread lives, and now I don't want to, moving there is no longer an option. I just want them to think about any other likely possibilities that could be, that is it might be a possibility. Modem is going bad, their ISP is suffering from TOO MANY Customers so they can no longer handle the loads, old equipment their ISP has and they are telling their customers about, someone else is hacking and using their account at the same time to do other stuff. WHAT?! I watched Leo and Kat on Call for Help, I watched Patrick and Leo battle over which OS, which software package, which was better... It was a fun time, great time, because everyone was eyeballing the new way of communication that let home users use business machines they could buy to try and start a home business. Machines in perfect condition, still in boxes, out dated for business use, that were piled up in back of the big businesses warehouses. TWIST THAT DIAL, OPEN THE USERs ACCOUNT SETTINGS, TEST YOUR ISP's DL and UL speeds. DSLREPORTS is a really good old speed test site with lots of bells and whistles. http:\\www.dslreports.com Have fun!

Ethreon
Let's assume for a minute that Nexus did do this. On what bloody grounds are you basing your crappy rant ? What sort of self important entitlement do you suffer from to make you believe you can make such posts? Edited February 3, 2019 by Ethreon
Deleted53237921User
This is what is lovingly known as "The Whine of a Taker". OP gets free access, free download, free forums, free mods, and OP wants more. 'tis a good thing I am not the one who runs this show as I'd wield the ban hammer for general greedy entitlement.
