MRELEKTRIK
So I installed Bodyslide and CBBE using Vortex. I just switched over from NMM. I redownloaded all my mods with Vortex since my NMM versions were all out of date. I installed CBBE, installed the textures I wanted to use, then installed bodyslide. Bodyslide is pointed to all the right directories, launches fine, picks up the meshes and textures I'm using. However when I build my body and then go to check the changes in game I am still greeted with the standard cbbe curvy preset. In Vortex there was a conflict issue. Obviously with the femalebody.nif's. I set it have Bodyslide win the conflict, no changes in game. Set it to have CBBE win the conflict, no change. I am not sure what to do. Should I have Bodyslide build the nif's to a different folder?? Like the Vortex folder? I am just not sure how to get it to work. I am sure the files made in Bodyslide go to the proper directory in the games data folder as that is where it is directed, but am almost positive that vortex is just writing over those when loading the files from cbbe, or even it's perceived bodyslide files since it is just using the cbbe files as reference. I have no idea in short what to do to get the bodyslide builds to actually take effect in game using vortex. I have also found very little information or help anywhere except how to point vortex to the proper bodyslide executable.
AugustaCalidia
Do you have the correct "Game Data Path" in BodySlide "Settings?" Although you may have pointed the BodySlide tool to the right directories, that doesn't automatically set the game data path found in BodySlide "Settings." Open BodySlide, click on "Settings," and check your "Game Data Path."
MRELEKTRIK
Yup, it's pointed to the skyrim data path. \Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data\
MRELEKTRIK
Which mod should win the conflict when using bodyslide or does that really matter since it is changing the files. Also it is not recognizing the changes the way it does with FNIS and allowing me to save the changes. This on Skyrim LE also, not SSE.

MRELEKTRIK
They are pointed to right directories and exe files. It launches fine. It's just no effects are taking place when I actually build the bodies to the skyrim data folder.
HadToRegister
Never mind, I just re-asked a question Augusta already did.
MRELEKTRIK
Vortex doesn't seem to register the changes made to the femalebody.nifs. When I zapped clothing elemnts to my armor for example it registered those changes and allowed me to permanently save them. But it doesn't seem to register those changes with bodyslide and allow those to be saved in the same way.

I'm having this problem where when i update body slide nothing in the game changes. Ive been trying to get HDT to work. And i suspect body slide not letting me select the HDT body is the issue. How do i save them so they show up in the game? Thanks.
MRELEKTRIK
Zapping clothing items is a part of Bodyslide that allows you to remove or "zap" certain clothing elements, like pauldrons or chest pieces. My problem was actually because my character was low weight and i didn't also make my changes to the low weight sliders in bodyslide. It was a noob mistake. It's been a while since I modded. Vortex doesn't seem to register the changes made to the femalebody.nifs. When I zapped clothing elemnts to my armor for example it registered those changes and allowed me to permanently save them. CBBE or UNP or whatever, then install XPMSE; you should get the most up to date version you can. Then you can install the HDT-PE. After that you can go into bodyslide and select the hdt body. If it is not in your options make sure you selected cbbe hdt bodyslide meshes when you installed bodyslide and or any of you bodies. If you don't have it already i would make sure you have skse and skyui as well. This way when you install xpmse you can see if it is working properly by going into its mcm menu. If you want physics with collisions I would recommend getting HeroedeLeyenda's cbbe body. Though it is not on nexus. You would install that after everything else including it's dependencies. A good way to test it is to get something like the sexy idle animation and running fnis then going in game to see if it is working. Even if you don't want the more adult features of the leyenda body, it still has the best looking physics(in my opinion.) Also if you need more help because I may not be able to answer all you questions on bodyslide; You can go to their discord and they are always willing to lend a hand. I think it is listed on the posts section of the bodyslide mod page.
