All mods now in Default group? (0.17.5)

Game: Fallout 4 (Steam)

After some misadventures using steam mover, I had to do a fresh download and reinstall of both Fallout 4 and Vortex, before this I backed up the vortex download file to not have to redownload all the files.

Now after the reinstall, all mods have a default group, with the exception of newly downloaded mods that have their proper groups, how would I fix this? redownload and reinstall every mod? Or is there a option I'm missing in the menu?

PS: The mods seem to be working fine for the most part

In 0.17.3 "Default" group defaulted to not showing the "default" text.

It made the load order MUCH easier to read, but apparently it was considered a 'bug' and now all the plugins that were in the Default Group, now shows the DEFAULT text again.

Vortex sorts your plugins by using built-in LOOT. Vortex sorts most plugins into the default group simply because most plugins need no special treatment. The fact that your game is working OK is a testimony to this. In my current Fallout 4 game I have 163 active plugins. Vortex has assigned only two of the plugins to special groups. That leaves 161 plugins in the default group. My game runs beautifully.

Please note that I talking here about plugins and plugin load order. I am not talking about install order which deals with mod conflicts such as overlapping texture files, etc.

Same thing here. I do have 65 plugins and only two : Scrap Everything and Unofficial Fallout4 Patch do not belong to the Default Group.

The majority belongs to the Default not because Vortex decided that way, but because the mod authors created those mods as .esp files with not extra conditions for LOOT to place them in different places / groups ( as Scrap Everything for example ) and because LOOT is integrated into Vortex, then those plugins are placed in the Default Group. Somebody with more knowledge can tell me if I am wrong or not but what I am just trying to say is that Vortex is doing what LOOT says and LOOT is doing what the mod says.

Why Scrap Everything is at the bottom is because the mod author decided to include some conditions in his mod for LOOT to place it at the bottom of the list but please correct me if I am wrong.

I did forget to mention that I am running Horizon and Sim Settlements, and these seem to be working fine but because I've never used them before I don't know what is missing and what is not, for example in Horizon's Architect I have 1 job station for hunter(butcher) which might just be the correct one but I can't seem to be able to send this Hunter out in fishing missions.

But I do actually have 2 bugs (that I can see at least) one is that the 10mm replacer I'm using broke, I'm going to do a fresh download and see if that does fix it and the second bug is missing recipes at the chemistry station, might just be Horizon not liking the Vault Explorer Suit
